i've not had any experience with at stutterbox but if you're not holding the gas at wot on the line you can get a wot switch to control activation of nitrous. they make two different kinds. one kind just bolts onto the throttle body and when the throttle rotor goes all the way open it activates...

no, actually the front end of the avenger is longer. thats why when all the avenger owners swap on eclipse fronts on their cars they have to cut it back some. you have to swap the core support as well. trust me, i've owned a few 2g talons and i have an avenger as well. i know what i'm talking about

another good thing to keep in mind that adding nitrous into a forced induction car is that the hp amounts generally listed for na setups are greatly increased. for example, if you used a jet rated at around 35hp, you will most likely see closer to 45-50hp out of it on a boosted car. it has alot...

fender bolts are m6x20mm. you can pick some up from fastenal or if you're lucky, a local hardware. its hard to find that size where i live cause its more out in the countryish but fastenal can get basically anything you want.like they said above, a decent extractor set can get those broken...

about the only reason this would be a good idea is to have more room for a turbo set up. swapping on an avenger front will give you about 2.5" more room in the engine bay. other than that, i think it looks horrible but that could just be the way the guy did it with the ugly flares and such.

I would like to add to this thread that as to date, there are currently 4 awd 4g63-t avengers running around. also, the grey one posted earlier in this thread has since been parted out and most of it sits in a junkyard. not that it ran bad or anything, he just wanted a new project. there is also...

alot of people with avengers do front clip swaps off eclipses and they have v6's in some of them. as long as your staying all motor, i don't think it would be that hard. isn't the a604 casing for the 420a and 6g73 the same with just different internals?i could have sworn i've seen this swap...

actually, you can swap out a 420a for a 4g63. the engine bays are identical aside from motor mount locations. you'll basically need a full parts car to pull all the wiring and all out of though.heres a couple links to a guy thats done it to a few avengers(which again, have the same engine...

i hit a deer right before winter just about a week or 2 before it was going to go into storage so it sat in the yard crumpled for about 7 months. It would have been fixed sooner but i was waiting on some custom parts I got screwed on.

if you mod a car the same way you type its not wonder you made it slower:rolleyes:no, avengers aren't the fastest cars around but they can be made reasonably quickand with the money you'd spend on a 4g63 swap you could easily boost the 420a or even the v6 and be just as fast:thumb:

nope. all avenger/sebrings come with either a 2.0 4 cyl or a 2.5 v6nope. there is not enough room in the bays to fit the stealth or 3000gt engine in. The 3.0 from a 3g eclipse will bolt right in and the 3.5 v6 out of a diamonte will fit with a little more work.there is a turbo kit...
