Didn't realize there's a limit to how many pics you can upload in your profile :aha:. I will start posting pics on this thread as the work progresses. :thumb:
You can use use stock springs and retainers. The cams on eBay look like them, you should ask the seller what brand they are. My dks 272 have the same blue strips on them. They are a vender on here, check at the top banner
Shouldn't have wasted your money. You will be lucky to see 10psi.Your better off selling your aftermarket parts and getting rid of those garbage internals for something beefier. All that engine is good for is the block, to build.
I never understood why there are more people that rather have the look of a 2gb eclipse over the talon.I'd trade my 2gb gsx for a 2gb awd talon ANY DAY of the week.Anyway, good job on the paint/body.
Lol ok dude.... Rofl.Just to be clear with you, I have never once used loctite on my oil pan bolts and they have never backed out on me, and as I said I have used both, sealant an gasket, PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, and have not had a leak. So if you did it and it leaked for you, as I said, you...
Lmao wow again with you... Seriously...Do it right and it won't leak. I use the gasket with black rtv and never had a problem with it leaking, and have put 50k+ on dsm motors... So it's all in the person doin it.
I'm have a set of dks2 272s, There one of the best investments iv made.. Especially for the price..The only mods you will have to do to run them in a 2g is for the 97-99 I believe, you have to drill and tap the intake cam for the cas bolt. I have a 6bolt so I don't have that problem.
Definitely a no go for me. My opinion bronze will look 10x better.I know your just testing and will most likely do it anyway but, make sure you paint the backs. Lol
OEM came with sealant however they do sell oil pan gaskets made by felpro (not a cheap cork gasket either) and sure other companies too. I have 2 siting in my garage.. Lol
Not to egg on anything, but bein a noob on "this" forum means absolutely nothing in comparison with how much skill someone has. For all we know your a noob that joined a year or 2 ago and just listed a bunch of crap to fill out a profile. No reason to start a fire that's not needed.Iv already...
Honestly, if you want this engine to last longer then start up, take it to a machine shop and have them assemble the rotating assembly for you.You are in WAY OVER YOU HEAD, with this. It would be a pitty for your time and money to go down the drain.Btw im not bashing you or anything, just...
Ngk bpr6es is stock, if you plan to turn the boost up, ngk bpr7es, one step colder.Iv never had problems with water pumps from advance auto or Pepboys..
