How your brake booster? Try this: with the car off pump up the brakes. If the pedal dosent get hard then your booster is bad. They're seals on the inside on it that wear out.
Long story short, the plugs for my wideband and 02 sensor got melted by my exhaust. Is it possible to hard wire it for the time being? Obviously i will need a new sensor and cable, but just something that'll get me by.
Have you scanned your CEL? And is it almost like a whistling noise? Mine did that when i had a cracked intake. Still the starting fluid trick will tell you.
One, the front of the motor is where the timing belt is. Take some starting fluid and spray it on the vacuum lines while its running. If the idle gets better, you have a vacuum leak.
I was able to get my wideband logged today, just I do believe it's f***ed up. I seen the connections for the o2 to the wideband and they were melted. Must have been riding on the exhaust. Looks like im going have to get a new sensor and cable.
I'm running very lean and I can't seem to figure out why/get it tuned in. I just need to know how to either add fuel or decrease air. Any help is appreciated.
Bleeding or not bleeding lifters, it's up to you. If they won't bring oil up into the head, and onto the valves, what do you think would happen? It'll cause them to seize up, and better hope it didnt seize up on a compression stroke.
Its most likely in your wiring. Measure voltage going from battery to starter. If theres any kind of volt drops pin it down and fix it. If wires are fine, see how many volts the starter is using. Then keep going to the alternator. If you know how to use a multimeter, it will speed things up a lot.
