I feel your pain bro, I bought my car in '11 and here it is '15 and I personally Only out about 200 miles on it if that the first year I bought it. Then its been down ever since. One problem after another.
Ok, the engine was rebuilt about 11000 miles ago by the previous owner. I swapped the head and decided to rip it apart and go through everything and fix all the hacks the kid did. I have had this car since '11 and I had some issues so I wanted to fix the problems. I had the head rebuilt and new...
Does anybody know? Only Markings are T08. Google came back with nothing. It came with a GMB kit, pretty much just wondering if I can trust it, I don't have the money for an known oem one or I would just get one.
If you have the money now I also think you should opt for Ecmlink, ect. Then when the time Comes when you want to boost more or add fuel, you will already have it so thats about $600 you dont need to part with at that time when you want to buy a new turbo or injectors or anything really.
Sounds good :thumb: I've soon you guys at empire one time last summer, It was at the Mustang shootout. I only remember seeing the white evo, that car is nasty. I haven't had my car out there yet cause its still apart but I plan on getting it together and having Emery tune it hopefully this...
Yea it was pretty crazy, tons of nice clean cars. Thanks for hosting such a nice show. You guys should do 2 per year, with an added swap meet. :sneaky:
PM this guy, not sure if he can help but he might be able to point you in the right direction in sourcing one. Good luck. http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/hx35s-and-hx40s-w-or-w-o-turbine-housings.479293/ Or @JusMX141 like Streetraceboi said.
My ecu looked visually ok other then some brown staining on the bottom. I sent it to Ecmtuning and it came back as my Isc drivers were fried and my caps were leaking despite visually looking good for the most part.
Ok thank you. I figured there was something wrong with the ISC drivers last time I had the car running, my ISC value in link wouldn't level out and would sometime stick at 120 or 0. Im.going to send my ecu in to ecmtuning and have them get things fixed.
So after reading that thread and measuring my springs I was able to determine that I do in fact have Crower springs. Also I was looking through the box that I have my springs in and noticed that I do have all 16 valve spring seat locators. :thumb:
Is there a way to find out for sure exactly what valve springs you have? I was told they are Crower springs but I see no markings or anything. Are there markings on valve springs? I want to know so I can find specs on them and seat locators for my head.
I just took my Ecu out because im going to send it to Ecmtuning for inspection and testing. I noticed a brown spot on the bottom of the board. What could it be from? its under the black drivers. Is it of concern? Also does it matter which way the dsmlink chip goes on the socket? MD312464 E2T61672
I might have to get a new thermo housing (bottom part) due to a hair line crack in one of the threads where a sensor goes, also a couple threads are stripped out. My question is I have a 1g head, but Im not sure if I need a 1g or 2g housing?
He doesn't have a blower, but he has the highrise with the 2 650cc carbs. And an aluminum scoop like the one on top of the blower, just minus the blowers. The pink wheels throw it off when we want to keep them silver haha.
Please no flaming or hating, but I want to do a favor for my father but I cant use photoshop for the life of me ha. I want to make the background a bit darker blue and I want to add the highrise intake to the car, sticking out of the hood. Please help if you can. He also wants to paint it hotrod...
Yea that sounds like what he was saying. But I didn't understand what it ment. It was over the phone when I talked to him. All he said he needed was cam specs but I wanted to compare numbers that are known with his just for peace of mind.
