I'm trying to see if they will fit my Mirage in the rear, have FWD but they are too short. I can order the awd lower tube from Megan direct if it will work, Thanks!
If you're going to use a solid or even layered copper gasket use copper sealant on both sides, this will cure you. Otherwise use the Felpro composite gasket. Also be sure to use a flat file on the flange before re-installing to check flatness.
The Halman boost controller has a bleeder port. How does swapping the ported fitting out for a AN adapter affect operation? Is the factory bleeder port even needed?
This^I wouldn't recommend An lines as there will only be about 1" of hose as the fittings are so large that the alignment would have to be perfect for it to work right. But it all depends on your setup.
I've been running e85 for about 6 months but I've only been through about 5 tanks or so. Haven't noticed any issues yet but my question is, would VP110 clean better than just normal pump gas which usually sill has ethanol in it? Thinking of running the race gas through every 6 months or so to...
I have my CEL set to turn on at 3* knock and I don't believe it's ever come on sense I made the switch to e85. I am stock block and head but run about 20* timing up top with peak boost at 30psi. BR7ES .025.
This thread is getting old now but just wanted to update on my 20g progress. Made 417whp 400wtq @ 26psi. on E75. @ English Racing. Ran out of injector (FIC 1150cc) so that's it for now until I get more fuel.Billet wheel, 10cm hot side.
I'm starting to think it's more of a greddy/nrg issue because I've tried everything and the only way I can get the compressor to not surge is let off the throttle slowly. I guess I'm going to try a ssqv or tial next and see what happens. I haven't checked for shaft play yet..
I know this is a old thread but it's most relative to my question. I have an evo 3 16g installed on a 4g61t and have been trying to get rid of my flutter issue. 1st I had a Greddy RS bov installed, it flutters bad when letting off the throttle lightly after boosting, if I let of the throttle...
Made 400tq 419whp on the stock block with room to go but ran out of fuel on 1150cc injectors, E85 20g. I would do headstuds as the 2g may be a little weaker.

The gauge is nice yes, but you still have to by the ECA box to go with it so it costs more. So I'm just gonna stick with the ECA that has the readout on it.
Thanks.
So looks like its best to just run this ugly box thing.. http://www.maperformance.com/zeitronix-ethanol-content-analyzer-eca.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=Product_Search&utm_campaign=google_base&gclid=CL7QpcHL8ccCFYhbfgod9UABHg
Is there a easy way to display with a gauge straight from the flex fuel sensor? Can I simply wire the gauge to ignition hot and to the GM flex fuel sensor wire? Looking to get a ethanol readout without needing the laptop in the car. Thanks.
Good numbers for a 20g, I'll be throwing my HRC 20g with an extended tip billet wheel on the dyno soon. I don't see full boost until around 4500rpms but I am on a T3 10cm housing so I'm not surprised but I feel there is a way to get that spool down. If you have any spool issues, leaky wastegate...
It is critical that you check the balance belt as well, this is very well known to fail and will take the timing belt out with it. Just so you know you're only checking half of the issue. The belts might look fine but age will deteriorate them, just because the mileage is low doesn't mean you'll...
