I have an issue with the valve seat ring not sitting flush so I can't get the vband around the o2 and the mvs. Any ideas?

can any one help me with this issue? i have a 97gsx with no ac bracket. anyways i got my half shaft today and the person i got ti from thought it might be from a auto and said it might be too long. my probelm is that i installed it and the holes dont line up its as if the halfshaft is too short...

If you squint really hard you can see he missed a spot by the driver side fender. Op you should try laying down more coats of it on that spot. Also all the bubbles one the hood are just terrible you are shooting the can too closely. Other than those few issues the car came out pretty good. :D

Installation wise any special lines needed?

Make sure all maintenance is done. Get 20g turbo a Wally 255 pump, bigger injectors, ECM link, upgraded clutch, fp manifold, some cams and you should be set. It's not as easy as buying those parts though. A good tune will go a long way.

Get an fp manifold you won't ever need another.

I had one as my first car. They are fun for a little bit don't dump money into it doing "performance" upgrades it will in the end hurt the car or hurt your wallet and the car won't be any faster. Great beginner car.

Happened to me. I basically just used alot of elbow grease and soapy water. Used green scotch pads didn't press down to hard. Its going to take a while. They dumped tan paint onto the roof of my car so it literally got on everything. Including door jams.

Type rs bov does not make a whistle sound. It makes a whoosh sound. Like a bunch of air escaping. Sorry bud your bov will not whistle.

Keep it stock and enjoy it for its reliability. Save up money to either drop in a 4g63t or possibly buy gst/gsx. If you must mod, keep working on looks I don't think you will be able to get a mod that will be noticeable. Maybe engine rebuild keep it running for ever.
