My stock Infinity head unit lost FM reception a few years ago. Not worth fixing. A new stock head unit is over $900. I now have an Alpine head unit that plays MP3's. I even bought the DIN cable to interface with the stock Infinity amp.

I have the same problem. It's intermittent. Sometimes 3rd gear works fine. When 3rd is being stubborn, I have to muscle it into gear. There is NO grinding. I tried switching tranny oil (Red Line MT90). Made no difference.
