Haha, he isn't making me an inconel one for real- we were joking about what ridiculous metals you could use to make one out of. I think if I was going to spend the money on exotic materials it would be titanium over that anyway.
How did they manage that one? Usually you have to send in photos of your wheels with a current newspaper before they will sell them to you. I'd buy the OEM ones but I think $120 for decals is completely ridiculous.
Any of you guys know of anyone who sells some decent looking TE37 decals? I'm having mine powder coated and I'd rather not spend $100+ on getting OEM ones (not to mention the hassle even ordering them). I've found two places that are close:VOLK RACING decals for TE37 Wheels: Blue...
I've found if you get part numbers for stuff like MOOG if you go on amazon and search for it you can usually find the parts for quite a bit cheaper than advance. I know I bought some ball joints for my galant that I ended up not needing for around 25 a pop off there.
True, but it seems anytime I have an oil leak that crap sprays itself everywhere making it impossible to trace without power washing the whole thing off.
Oh I know it is a pain in the ass to do but that usually doesn't keep someone from doing it. I always thought the first gen neons with the SRT-4 drive train would make a nice sleeper but it is one of those projects at the end of the day you just shake your head at for the amount of time it...
Well what I mean one person is going to make one different from the next, they aren't all designed the same bend wise. What might work in one engine bay with one set up might not work in another. Was it custom made or made by a known manufacturer?
With a built bottom end I wouldn't say 15 is completely unreasonable but you are going to run into fuel issues at that boost with stock componentsI was always curious to see if anyone would try to toss in a 2.4 out of an SRT-4...you see it a lot with the neons of that generation but the...
You have to watch out I know advance has the part numbers completely messed up depending on if you pull up an AWD model or not. They also sell two different versions that have a bracket and ones that don't. Where have you been looking for one?MB699263 is the Mitsu part number for the...
I ended up doing this with one of my cars but skipped the actual cleaning process and just threw the carpet in the trash after finding a seal had leaked and the underside was nothing but black mold. How does that fabric paint hold up after a bit of wear? Any long term users of it?
Hi, I was looking at having my friend re-cap my ecu for me and was wondering if anyone has a list of caps I would need to order to do it? Digi-key part numbers would be much appreciated, I poked around but haven't been able to find an actual part list for them. I have a 92 VR4 if there is a...
I just picked up my first DSM the other day, 1992 Galant VR4 #33 of 1000, and figured I'd post a picture or two and say hi. I've owned an odd selection of vehicles from an srt-4 skittle, to an 04 terminator, a goat, and a few others. Sort of glad to be back into a turbo 4-cylinder and...
