Yea I did it all online and 4000 is the max they had so I set It to that..talked to a agent thru the live chat and she said to just keep all my receipts incase something happens

Do you have anti lag and/or 2 step setup. If so your computer might think your sitting still as in your log it says 0 mph the whole time. My buddy's car did this needless to say it was the last thing we checked that fixed it. Id check the speed sensor connection and make sure it is working...

the white wire is rpm signal. It's used for wide open throttle tuning, you can run with it unhooked. its unhooked on my car and my buddys car and both run just fine. but if u wanna switch the MAFT to do full throttle tuning after your idle and cruise are setup u need to hook it up.

Update: Ended up being more than a starter so i got rid of it to a buddy and got a 1990 talon Tsi. Mods are in my profile for it hopefully getting dsm link this month. I also ended up with a 1991 Tsi with a factory sunroof. will be doin a build thread soon for the car in my profile.

forgot to take pics but mine is just pressed into the vent area and hasn't moved once in spirited driving or hard bumps.

drove it for a week as i didn't notice the lil puffs/cloud of white smoke coming out. I had already ordered the MLS gasket and other parts for my lil street car build. the 30 PSI pull was one hell of a ride tho :hellyeah: lol cant wait till its close to that every time i stab the throttle. lol

I agree my first guess would b a leaky head gasket. was just trying to help since he said it smelled like it was running really rich. my car use to puff a lil white smoke that i assumed was the head gasket but i made it really smoke when the wastegate i got had a 25 spring setup in it...

This is what i always thought.... But was also told unburnt fuel could be a faint white smoke. Thats y i said i wasn't a expert lol

I'm no expert but if it smells really rich it could be excess raw fuel in the exhaust. maybe change your plugs and see if it goes away.

It has reflective tape on it in the pic the sheath it is on just slid more towards the plug side of the harness. I plan on getting more heat wrap and reflective tape. Definitely needs some more work i only re routed the harness that ran across the intake manifold and eliminated/ hid some other...

I just put it in. I always run my heater on the def/floorboard. So it didn't bother me to block off this vent most of the way with guages.
