Drove it around the block for 15 mins. Drives perfectly fine. The idle surge is slowly going away. as I figured some bad gas. If I stop being lazy I'll make a write up one of these days for DSMtuners. for the clutch replacement.
I put the car on the ground and it moves without struggling. I'm going for a test drive once I figure out the idle surge. I think its either because of the old gas (A few weeks old, I added HEET) or the fact the ECU cable looks jacked up.More to follow
1998 Eclipse GS
Just finished installing a new clutch pack onto the car. I wanted to test to see if everything went well.
Started up the car, put it in first gear without using the gas pedal only the passenger side axle moves. When you press on the gas the car struggles but the driver side...
Currently I am in the process of replacing the clutch pack for a 98 Eclipse GS. After reinstalling the transmission I ran into a problem of aligning the flywheel bolts to the clutch pack. I automatically assumed that turning the flywheel and lining up 1 flywheel bolt, then putting in that bolt...
I can definatlyl help you out with the sticker bomb thing. I've actually done that to my 2G looks pretty badass. As far as the Turbo setup. Come down or give us a call 8082389490
Sorry I haven't been on in a few days, been really busy with working on this store/shop location. Well mainly we will be doing light installs and work on cars at this location until We can move to a better suited facility. But for right now we sell pretty much anything and everything performance...
It has so far been an amazing experience I'm enjoying every bit of it. And so far haven't done any mods yet. Don't plan on it... Although I need to do something about my aggressive fitiment wheel and tire selectiin
Actually... I've just wanted one for so long since knowing the power and feel of AWD I had to get it with this car. I've loved every second of driving it. I got it at 138000 California highway miles.
Well it finally happened. A few months ago I bought an Evo 8. Super happy with it. Thought I'd share some pictures. Since I just got new wheels too. Check it out. The best part... Completely virgin! Even has factory tags on the hoses and what not.
Yes JNCOs are forever the best jeans I still have two of their shirts hanging on my walls. I'll say this stretch tires look good on a lot of nice cars.
I don't think that statement is necessarily true. Its all about how much you the builder and owner want to put into your car I think. You can go cheap, you can go go expensive, you can go flashy or you can go any other way. But its all about your personal choices.
That's one more reason why I don't want want too. Hawaii roads will mess up nice wheels in a heart beat. I really don't want to pay a decent amount of money for something nice to look at to nick up just by driving down the road. My wife still hasn't messed up her wheels and sue has normal tires...
Of course it was never eaten... So they say or so there is no proof. Plus someone is going to get fire. And that dude had to have either helped them throw it out or known about it somehow. Doesn't change the scandle
Your mod list has nothing about gauges so get your basic gauges, boost and a wideband I'd also recommend a oil pressure gauge. Also I would take that anti lag down if you don't want to get rid of it to 3200-3500 , I had it on my Gst with a stock turbo and didn't hurt anything on my dd. And I...
I don't know how much use this will be to you butI've never used an "eBay" digital boost gauge or any non brand name produced gauge. But I can say that I paid a good amount of money for my AEM digital Wideband, Boost, and Oil pressure gauges and they are the best guages I have seen or used...
For the record the green rims are not for any kind of fad thing. Its becoming my new favorite color also it is my teams color so it works out well. Im not knocking tinted taillights but money could be better spent as well as time.
I have anti fans XD. I didn't notice they were cast, that changes a lot for the OZ's and those Gramlites are really nice but very expensive and hard to come by
