my brother just bought a godspeed fmic for his 2g but i was wondering how it mounts underneath the bumber. i dont see any clear mounting points, on my 1g it is very simple there is a clear mounting bracket under the bumper
there was 2 plugs, coming from the thermostat housing with 1 wire diconnected from each. I went to a junkyard got 2 new plugs spliced the wires and boom it started rite up. hasnt had a starting problem since then. thanks for all your help guys

IMO automatics are MORE reliable then the 5 speeds. Dsm tranny's are notoriously crappy sorry to say, the clutch is just touchy from the factory and shifting is usually notchy . Torque problems? it's just because it's n/a the 420a is a pefect daily driver but not so good for modding. If anything...
What could you do? fix it yourself motor mounts are easy to change. also exhaust is very easy its just bolting flanges together.

i did not know he was auto. my auto laser was doing the same thing 1 quart of atf+4 and boom problem solved. also try taking cruise control off for some reason it slips when its engaged especially 2nd to 3rd gear.
