Chris in Ft.worth does good work. He works out of his home and on the side. Damn good though and has a couple of High Hp motor he built running around. All the work he has done for me is top notch and alot of people vouche for him.
Ive read that one. I guess what im asking is there was one write up where the guy gave the exact length of pipe needed and where to cut. think it was like 6'' or something.
Any body have the link to build your own? Went to RRE and could find it anymore. I know you cut the stock one but what size pipe is needed and where to cut. Thanks
He may be having the problem Iam with a leaky TB seals. After some throttle mine will stumble and get real rich. Then its right back to normal. Honestly I would just stay with the Maf setup easier to tune with IMO.
Do a BLT. Im almost certain thats it. Get that injector fixed. If you have oil in the square part of valve cover its probally you oil cap or you cracked it.
In all honestly when I buy them they are gonna sit for a month or so. Im also replacing all ball joints and tie rods.
If everyone says there worth a few xtra bucks, I will bite.
Wow this thread took off. Honestly after researching on my own and listening to you guys I'm gonna buy the Koni yellows and Eibach Pro. Honestly I do not feel that coilovers in general are that great(for the street). Racing would mean something like a Moton system or anything with external...
My 99 gst is need of shocks and i figured while i was at it i would change the springs as well. In the past I have used Eibach Pro kits with Koni's or Agx's on my other cars. I had Tanabe Nf210's with Tokico blues on my Is300 and it was a pleasant car to drive.
With this car my budget is...
Thats what we are saying this question has been asked a million times. Oh well as with my previous statement. Get a 20g that way you wont be on the ragged edge of a 16g.
You could answer your own question by searching and comparing flow rates and just general turbo info available in the search function. Im gna guessthe reason this thread is still going is because they may not have seen it yet. Being an ass is not the way to get info anyway.
There are so many...
Road race is not about power. The balance is key. My first mod would be brakes. It is the single most important thing you can do. It is also one of the hardest to do correctly. Power should be the last of your worries. I'd spend my money in this order.1.maintenance(ball joints, bushing ect)...
Ballast. check connections first to be sure. Why run Hid's? our OEM housings are not mae for them and they scatter light. I will just stay with my silverstars.
The way i saw it was that there is no way I could duct enough air into that little vent to keep it cool during boost. I would have to cut the bumper. Spidergst is a close friend and we worked a deal. Some people say from what i read that the core is better on the small one than the larger one...
Real dead. Not sure why. Still havent had a chance. My laptop wont stay on for more than 10 min at a time the battery is ####ed. Yes, im pleasantly pleased that their is no overheating. Especially with this 104-108 degree weather.
Well I wanted the Greddy because of its tube and fin design. Which allows more flow to the condenser and radiator. I also dislike it because of the piping. Looks like the underside of house. lol
I just picked up a Greddy 18v FMIC and i was wondering what horsepower these intercoolers can handle. Im on a T28 and never plan to upgrade thus, the reasoning behind the small Greddy. I can use my a/c and do not overheat even with the 100+ degree weather. Just wanting to kow a little more...
I sent an email but figured i would try here as well.I got a reply. He stated that these ar ethe new design PP and are 5% stronger then the previous white painted ones.
Just bought an unsprung disc and stage 4 prssure plate for my GST and when i get it the prssure plate isnt white but chrome/bare? im wondering if anybody elses stage 4 came like this. I dont want to put it in and find out its a weaker plate.
The last clutch they sent me the wrong plate and...
Ducting Ducting Ducting. Air will take the path of least resistance. Try to mimic the OEM duct as much as possible. Heat management is something i learned with a Rx7, and i will tel you ducting and Oem heat shields do wonders.
