I used to get high 20s/low 30s on my GST quite often. Talon AWD 22-24 normally. Long trips I think mid 30s with GST.Thread 'How To Save Gas' https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/how-to-save-gas.254223/

This is the last one I installedI believe that used the previous solenoid bracket holes.
My God, may my wife never decide to get one of these. I may have to consider breaking our marriage agreement of working on anything she buys. Just kidding, but like you I'll be inventing new words when I work on it.
Lost my pin apparently or just forgot where I put it. So I used an Allen instead, 5/64 I think.Goes all the way through.I forgot I hadn't rotated the engine yet as I was just checking things the other day. So I went ahead and did two rotations and took another measurement...
I've just been cleaning parts and removing items from engine bay. Whatever I get a dry day I'll be removing the rust from leaked battery acid and prepping the bay for the paint that just came in today.
FWIW I have slowly tensioned the eccentric pulley till the pin moved freely and left it there for years. I've always been able to come back and put the/a pin back in after a year or three. I do this as I don't believe the hydraulic pressure on the arm changes much at all between these heights...
Two ways, either it was overrevved and it floated or it overrevved and the lifter pumped up. Maybe 3rd reason related to the lifter but I haven't thought of it yet. Replaced the rockers and rod and misfire went away but did sound like a slight lifter tick. Didn't get to check it, anything...
Either way will work. On my personal car I've run stock, Evo injectors, and then jumped to ID 1050s. All I'll say is the IDs run and idle just as well as the factory and Evo injectors. I can reach through my window anytime of year and start the engine and it'll crank up and idle like stock...
If you gonna street drive it the smaller will be better. If Race dedicated use the larger. Even then it depends on what kinda of racing. You'll lose resolution with the larger TB, Small throttle movements will result in large airflow changes.
Just an FYI for the next person coming across this thread, with the exception of the timing belt and oil drain holes, these blocks can be run as is with a good tune. Stock 64 is good for the 350-400lb-ft range, YMMV. Stock rods and pistons hold up well. Contrary to popular belief 2G 2.4s do...
Took my turbo kit to work to disassemble for crack repairs and clean up for new gaskets. Got a wild thought of trying to figure out if I can turn this old n63 turbo heat shields into to something for my turbo. This manifold desperately needs heat shields. Rubber#2 is maybe 2" or less from my...
If your air temp maxes and airflow drops to zero then you loses a power or ground to the MAF. Or you have a short. You should start at the MAF and work your way back to the ECU. First check if you have power/reference voltage and grounds then check your wiring integrity.
I have something for you for that gas tank. Bought for a Wagoneer and never used it. Its a por15 gas tank kit. Should still be in my storage shed, I'll check asap.
No, this is some rigged up 07 g55 from Dubai that someone imported to Tennessee and sold to some kid around here. Lot of weird stuff going on with it (entire interior has been swapped from a 2017 model, including the middle section of the old cluster was installed into them headliner above...
Also for what it's worth, LUK was the OEM supplier. I don't see an issue buying one of those or the Exedy or the Sachs master cylinders. But if you really wanna fork over the money->...
All in days work. Gotta wait on parts now. Gonna clean things up in the meantime. Don't suppose anyone knows where I can get wild berry pearl metallic in a spray can to clean up the bay with?
Yeah its 90 1-4 95 5th and R. Some 92-94 shift rails and forks. Something like that, I'd have to look back in my info to see what all I did. Had some extra transmissions laying around and had help from Twicks/Tim to make the best of what I had.
Sold all my other cars, down to just the Jetta and the Talon between me and my wife. So I'm forcing myself to revive my Talon. About to pull the engine and trans. Replacing the trans for a stock trans that hopefully shifts good while I repair my 90/92/95 Frankenstein transmission bearing and...
