Nobody really understands/appreciates my car in my area so i get flamed constantly for it.But rattling for me is a huuuuuge issue everything rattles constantly. and the fact that i have to keep my vents open to cool my engine bay. So in the summer its like driving with the heater on.
For those of you that don't think of bowling as a real sport, let me just show you the other side. Yes i believe if you just go out with your buddies and bowl a few games it doesn't take much athleticism or effort or whatever. I always thought the same thing untill i started to do professional...
16g, 18g, 20g, etc are all turbos. anytime its a 2 digit number and a letter its a turbo.Logging is the term we use to describe how we analyze the data that our ecu is relaying to the car.Keep looking im sure you may find something along the lines.Check the vfaq section
i am amazed at the help this forum gives. The other forums i am on would have already had 18 pages of flaming and a lock on it.To the OP good luck. Just so you are aware there are metal gaskets that are much thicker for the turbo housing. It helps in tightening up that area. Also what...
300 horsepower and 300 tourque. Look out everybody...The new mustang 5.0 is only make 377 wheel and weigs 5000 lbs not 3500 lbs.Anyways back on topic guys i used to love this thread. Now we are all shitting it up.My GVR4 brings out the worst in people because everyone is always...
Im sure if you have those other built cars you can answer your own question. In my opinion both those turbo are way too big for a road course. but if i had to pick i would pick the 30r. realistically something smaller with quicker response would be better. My scm 61 which is basically a...
one of our customers bout a 2003 pathfinder (from a ford dealer) and it would always stall out. After a few weeks of trying to resolve the issue we credited her the money back and she bought another car. We then fixed the truck and resold it.
I would agree everybody i talk to in my town runs 9's 10's and 11'syet when i race these 9 second cars i put 20 buses on them.my coworkers think a stock mustang can rape my gvr4 with a bolt on 35r.It's all in the perception.
i have a suzuki boulevard m50 (not a rocket) but i used to sell motorcycles and love them every now and then.Better question is "is your dsm faster than your croth rocket?"
i ran over 400 on the stock mounts for a long time.I then got new mounts because my stockers were ripping. (saw it when i was doing my turbo swap)I absolutly hate the new mounts. They are way to stiff and my car sounds like it is just rattling itself to death. I never heard rattling...
Sent pm, i live right near you.tried pm' ing you but doesnt seem to be working.I have been modding dsm's in this area for 5 years....i know where everyone and everything is around here. also can lend a hand if needed
Yes the car is totally debadged and now wingless. All of that was done when i repainted it back to factory.Car is running strong after turbo swap, mustangs and vettes are old news i just smile at those guys.More fun to race vettes if it's a z06 or r6's and gsxr600's
I got this car last november in non running condition, and indesperate need of paint. Keep in mind this car is a true DAILY DRIVER i am a salesman at a ford dealer and i drive this to work EVERYDAY with no hiccups. Hopefully hitting the dyno soon and the track. My goal is 450AWHP and low 11's...

Most of the "knock" i have seen on dsm link cannot be heard with your own ears.If you hear something loud like that you need to look into it further. I still dont understand why people with maintanance issues beat on their car. I just retuned my scm61 at 20 psi and im just driving it for...
i live in the "rust belt" where it's known to be cold, snowy, and salty but this summer the high 90's have been so common. We aren't used to it at all so it feels sooooooo hot out.
Im sure this has been dicussed a million times on here. Feel free to take a look around. There is even a 16g dyno thread that has hundreds of dyno results on 16g'sThe evo 3 16g that i ran for a long time always started to choke out around 26-28 psi. But i was tuning on pump gas. With e85...
Looks great man, Did you by any chance have a air regulator on the gun, or were you just using the one on the compressor. Sometimes the compressor is too much flow and it dies off at times making it hard to spray evenly.Great job though
