After two months of driving with the different shifter cables, this DOES work, you just need to know what way to adjust it I guess, Its smooth as butter no grinds and I havent had any issues making it fit really. THanks guys.
I just wish the 1g had the same write up as a 2g. That second rod connects the lock? I might just break it off or something, My buddy and I looked at it for 30mins and couldnt figure it out Its been 1\over 100 here this whole week and my patience is thin.
I've looked everywhere on how to pull out the old one and can't find info. Is the 2g write up similar? And I can't seem to get to th back rod to unhook it. Do I need to take off the locking latch? Thanks!
Think the camber plates are loose? I'm out currently ill take a long when I get backAfter further inspection th sping can wiggle back and forth and the inner sleeve as well. The camber plates all tight and he middle top nut just rotates with the inner sleeve.
Okay I just thought I shouldn't be able to rotate the spring with my hands. Can the top nut on the camber plates adjust something? It sounds like metal on metal but I have no idea where it could be coming from.
I've had noises coming from my coilover and I went to inspect it today to see a moderatly loose spring. I was wondering if there was a way to re preload it? After inspection the noise got very loud on turnin and is stating to piss me off
Thanks for the help. No one previous to me ever even opened the bottom cover except to change a timing belt so i dont know how it fell off. I used red loctite and tightened down to proper TQ. It stopped leaking and hasnt come loose yet!

So I have had a field day swapping transmissions out of my 90 awd. I bought a 1992 transmission and realized output shaft spline count and shift linkage arms are different sizes. I have the matching transfer case available but what else will I need to swap? I have been getting different answers...
It was my clutch the inputbshaft hole is completely loose and can move every direction. Its not chewed out it just moves way too much. There is also a large heat ring around the input shaft hole. The 6 flywheel bolts were shaved a bit too from something.
Rear axles are acting he same as thy have before. Little to no play. I jacked front up and wheel will free turn going backwards but when spun worward it will pull the other wheel with it.

This helped a lot, I found the short actually from the sparking noise but since I dont know much with wiring i used what you told me and learned quite a lot. the o2 sensor wire was stripped and laying on the transmission bell housing. I feel like an idiot for not seeing it before.

Just as stated. Car shut off while driving. Won't pop start. It cranks all day and I can hear a fuel pump whine. The fuel pump relay was clicking badly when it died but now clicks on and off normally.I just checked the ecu and all capacitors are clean and good.
