After two months of driving with the different shifter cables, this DOES work, you just need to know what way to adjust it I guess, Its smooth as butter no grinds and I havent had any issues making it fit really. THanks guys.

I can get the lock off its the far inside rod i cannot remove, my buddy said I might have to remove the lock latch to get to it.

I just wish the 1g had the same write up as a 2g. That second rod connects the lock? I might just break it off or something, My buddy and I looked at it for 30mins and couldnt figure it out Its been 1\over 100 here this whole week and my patience is thin.

Thats my issue that inner rod i cant figure out how to get to it.

I've looked everywhere on how to pull out the old one and can't find info. Is the 2g write up similar? And I can't seem to get to th back rod to unhook it. Do I need to take off the locking latch? Thanks!

Think the camber plates are loose? I'm out currently ill take a long when I get backAfter further inspection th sping can wiggle back and forth and the inner sleeve as well. The camber plates all tight and he middle top nut just rotates with the inner sleeve.

Okay I just thought I shouldn't be able to rotate the spring with my hands. Can the top nut on the camber plates adjust something? It sounds like metal on metal but I have no idea where it could be coming from.

Front I should have specfied. Is that just an extra coil added in?

I've had noises coming from my coilover and I went to inspect it today to see a moderatly loose spring. I was wondering if there was a way to re preload it? After inspection the noise got very loud on turnin and is stating to piss me off

Thanks for the help. No one previous to me ever even opened the bottom cover except to change a timing belt so i dont know how it fell off. I used red loctite and tightened down to proper TQ. It stopped leaking and hasnt come loose yet!

I'm grabbing the shift linkage from the other car just in case but I will try it with my 90 assembly. So all I have to do is change the brackets? Was your shifter sitting way off to the left?

Man, that's disappointing. Oh well. So I ca mount the the 91 assemby straight to the 90 chassis? Do I pull the cables thru the engine side?And Id do the output shaft fix but I'm not sure if I blew my tcase or viscious lsd so I'm just replacing both. Thank you very much for the help.

That saddens me so there is no way to use the 90 shifter assembly at all? And how do I remove the cables?

So I have had a field day swapping transmissions out of my 90 awd. I bought a 1992 transmission and realized output shaft spline count and shift linkage arms are different sizes. I have the matching transfer case available but what else will I need to swap? I have been getting different answers...

It was just the red 12v on the transmission housing. It didnt run poorly though just and on/off situation.

It was my clutch the inputbshaft hole is completely loose and can move every direction. Its not chewed out it just moves way too much. There is also a large heat ring around the input shaft hole. The 6 flywheel bolts were shaved a bit too from something.

Rear axles are acting he same as thy have before. Little to no play. I jacked front up and wheel will free turn going backwards but when spun worward it will pull the other wheel with it.

This helped a lot, I found the short actually from the sparking noise but since I dont know much with wiring i used what you told me and learned quite a lot. the o2 sensor wire was stripped and laying on the transmission bell housing. I feel like an idiot for not seeing it before.

Just as stated. Car shut off while driving. Won't pop start. It cranks all day and I can hear a fuel pump whine. The fuel pump relay was clicking badly when it died but now clicks on and off normally.I just checked the ecu and all capacitors are clean and good.

Changed gear oil and did nothing and it goes in 5th great. It shifts fine just no 4th or reverse and the whining is disappearing I'm just gonna get a new rans and tear into this one

All throttle body ports are capped but one for boost gauge I assume. Isn't egr just two lines? I'm more worried about my turbo wastegate and blow off valve lines being crossed.

The Car is alive! It RUNS. I now think I have a bad coolant temp sensor. I flood the cyliders bad and then the car wont start until i wait for it to dry a bit. Ill be datalogger tomorrow. A late night tear down of my fuel pump showed I had a fried rewire relay. Ill be replacng today to see if that was the issue the whole time.

So I tried a new ecu and new cas. Ecu changed nothing. The cas made the car fire up twice for one turn then it shut right off again. Also while cranking I smell a good amount of fuel but my gauge is reading zero.

I haven't had access to electrical testing equipment, I believe my friend will be doing it for me though when he brings it over. My ecu was repaired once before but I opened it up and it was the crappiest repair ever. So I wouldnt doubt that. Im taking forever doing this because Im having issues...

Small update: Had a guy come check and he thinks its just a bad CAS, Im going to replace the ECU tomorrow.

The car sits around 11.5-12volts when sitting and during crank it drops to about 9.I'm using the same CAS as my old motor. It had insane crankcase pressure when the car died. It just looked coated in oil. There is a bit of oil in where you put the cas but its nothing much. Could this be the...

Back guys, my ECU by the way has had th cap fix done to it. It is getting power when I turn the key as well. I tried plugging all wires in twice switching some look alike plugs and still nothing. I'm beginning to think my cas Is bad. Probably what fried my old motor. Sorry about the bickering...
