I have a 1992 laser awd with cloth seats non power and i weighed the drivers seat last year i think it weighed 35 pounds ..does that sound right i know it wasn't 50 pounds like it says above (1ga drivers seat 50lbs. (cloth)I think laser seat are the lightest cause they dont have lumbar...

I just removed the power steering in my 1st gen (92 laser awd 5 speed) i cut the hard line and looped it ..After doin so i went for a drive and the car was very hard to steer..I then dis-connected one of the lines and turned the wheel right to left some fluid came out ..i then looped the lines...
You do not need after market springs and retainers to run hks cams..maybe only if u have hks 280's then u might ...stock springs have been rev'd to 8500k plus with out a problem

i'm having a problem like that but mine doesnt go into 2nd gear at a high rpm if i shift fast.it doesnt grind it just locks me out ..i pretty much gave up :beatentodeath:
just get a 2900 with a street disk ..that will be ## best bet

i been having this problem for awhile now at first i thought it was my clutch set up i had a act 2600pp with the new 6 punk sprung act disk and it was grabbin to close to the ground cause the pressure plate fingers with hit the spring..well i swap out the disk and installed a act street disk and...

hey so what happends when you make it grab 3" off the floor do u hear the pressure plate rubbing the springs..i think act mess up when they made that new disk..we should all get together and complain so some thing gets done cause act is quik to blame the customer when something is wrong :nono:
Posting this for a friend he has a 95 eclipse gsx still has the 7 bolt motor but it has a new mitsu mls head gasket and arp head studs done 2k miles ago.. we noticed oil after we took the radiator cap off 2 weeks ago i was like what the hell there's no coolant in the oil and its not blowing out...

Hey your 6 puck also grabbed right to the floor to??mine did as well but i adjusted it just enough to grab kinda high but not for the pressure plate fingers to hit the disk.. do u have a 6 puck sprung or non sprung? i think act made the springs way to big thats why they hit the pressure plate...
Yes i got mine working but if i adjust it so it does'nt hit the springs the clutch grabs to low ..like off the floor then if i make it grab any higher the pressure plate hits the disk springs...what a mess i'm a not happy pappy right now i dont think they did a good job making the new revise act...
This just happend to me too heres a pic ..i called act and they said i'm the first one to have this problem ..why dont u guys call act and tell them whats going on ..i dont think they made there new street disk and puck style disk any good ..but they need our feed back if no ones complaining...
Hey brothers i just got done..it was my clutch adjustment all along..i drop the tranny down for no reason i call act while my trany was already dropped and he told me its an adjustment the pressure plate was hitting the springs on the clutch disc..i had to back out the rod under the dash unreal...
