It's not recommended to leave it in. Pour 1/3 bottle in the oil, 1/3 in the gas, and suck 1/3 in through a vacuum line and let sit for about 15 minutes. Then fire it up and take a spirited drive for 10-15 minutes then change the oil. It does clean out a lot of carbon buildup and several...
+1 for Thermal. I lucked up and came across one lightly used a few years back for my GST. I was planning on buying a new one anyway. To me, there is nothing out there that sounds as good for our cars. But as someone else stated...they can be loud when you get on it...which we never do so....:D
To reflash your ECU the 2.0 is required. I should be able to log with the 1.3 cable. I think I'm going to try and find a 2.0 cable and use the ECU unlocker software....I'm not sure what else it could be.I'm not even trying to flash at this point. I'm just trying to connect so I can log...
I plastidipped my entire GS and the hood was the toughest by far because it's a huge area and you can't keep the can upright. If I ever get time I'm going to peel it off and redo it. I think I'll actually pull it off and stand it up next time ;)
I don't have a Tactrix cable, I was only looking to do some logging so I purchased one of the 1.3 cables on ebay. The fact that it or the PLX doesn't work definitely narrows it down to the OBD port or the ECU.I've also used the Bluetooth PLX connector on my GS. It lights up red when...
Using a laptop. I get a response from the laptop when I connect the USB cord so it has power. And it installed the drivers from tactrix the first time. Evoscan will go through connecting and actually say it has utilized but then give a "no response from ecu"Even the bluetooth connector for...
Thanks, I didn't know that. Fuse is fine though (and the power door locks).I also downloaded the ECU Unlocker from ecuflash...didn't seem to do anything. I booted up ecuflash itself just for the heck of it to try and read from the ECU and got nothing but I'm pretty sure I'd need a 2.0...
First off, I apologize if this has been asked but I've searched all evening and haven't found a solution.I have evoscan installed on the root of the C drive, ecuflash also installed on there, and have downloaded the files from Ceddy I need. I have a 1.3 cable for logging. I cannot get any...
I hear ya...every time I've taken mine for alignment or something like that they take it out to "double-check" this or that....I'm sure it's totally professional....right??!! :hmm:
If you do the 1/3 in your vacuum line, oil and gas then yes you will need to change your oil. Shouldn't hurt your plugs but most would recommend ditching the iridiums and getting the plain copper NGKs.
Ordered a brake light switch that broke this fall. Hoping it fixes my battery being slowly drained since my attempt at using snap clips apparently didn't work :/
Every year we see a team get hot in the playoffs and I think this year it's the Ravens. Like was said, they've beaten two of the best teams in the league on the road. I'm switching my prediction to the Ravens but I agree....it should be an outstanding game!
Probably two of the best weeks of playoff games I can remember in quite some time though!I missed the Seahawks game but the others went my way. Baltimore and New England game will be interesting since Gronk re-broke that arm again...and Woodhead also went down.I'm not sure Atlanta will...
I wouldn't stress too much about Orton's trash time TD drive. Romo had a good game up until late and it was over at that point. He has nobody that can catch the ball! How many drops did they have anyway? Not to mention tipped up for picks. Everytime I watch the Cowboys I see his WRs running...
Good! I can always count on the cowboys to put a smile on my face after a rough week :)I'll agree with you though. Romo has no help from his receivers.
I finished the GS up about a month ago (entire car) and it came out great in some areas and not so great in others. The worst to me being the hood. Think I'll peel it off and redo one day. If I do, I'll be sure to take it off so I can stand it up to where the can can be held in an upright...
That's the drip guard piece you're referring to and is also no longer made by Mitsubishi :( You would be lucky to find them new and if you did...very expensive! The plasti-dip works and looks great and will wear better than the flat paint (which I did on my old GS before learning this trick).
