I would not. I believe the point of the higher octane on the car is to help prevent knock and detonation. I would just stick with 91-93 octane.

Or you could go "turbonetics" T3 cast manifold with what I believe is a 2 bolt 38mm EWG port.

So I pulled of my old 16g and 2g manifold and it looks like the manifold is a forced performance manifold. I was wondering if anyone could help identify if this is or is not some type of early FP manifold.

I'm running a -12 return because I've done research on it and all of the knowledgeable people on here running a holset agree that -12 is the smallest you want to go for longevity of your hx35/40.

The pan will be bored out. There wouldn't be a point in having such a large oil drain if I was going to choke it at the pan.

I would honestly just remove the compressor cover and take it with you to your nearest hardware store.

Does anybody know when I can get a -12 holset oil return kit? Every where I have looked only has -10 oil return.

$800 is pretty hefty to me. I could see $600 maybe for a bunch of used parts that you dont know the history of for sure.

The noise is still there it hasnt changed, The clutch noise is from pushing down about an inch to slightly above the floor. on the floor it is gone. I could see it being the TOB if the noise pitch went up with rpm but its only goes up with speed. The other may be the plate on the rotor in which...

Yea they are very close to matching tread now but the noise is still there. As soon as I put 2 and 2 together I put very close matching tires on ther car.

I just went thru this same shit. My thermostat was opening but not all the way, like it was stuck or something. I replaced the thermostat along with all the coolant hoses in the engine bay and issue resolved.

I ended up with a screw in one of my tires (somehow after my neighbor got in my face about my exhaust) so I went down to a tire shop and they replaced it. Now the tread on the rest of my tires was garbage seeing the new one vs old ones so I had 3 tires with maybe 30% tread left and a brand new...

I have a welded center diff on my DD and it took me maybe 3 days to get used to...i can do U-turns with no problem and take sharp turns with ease. A down side is it will chew up the outside of your tires.

Yea i'm gonna ceramic coat the dump tube and wrap it but the power steering issue is a big one for me since its a daily driver. Anybody have any pictures of it with power steering? I cant find any.

Okay so I have a t3 DNP manifold and I'm wondering if the tial v44 wastegate is gonna fit with my power steering pump still in there? I couldn't find any pictures or any information on if it will fit with power steering pump still in there.

My turbo has 1/4" of in n out shaft play currently. I was told it wasnt the thermostat since the lower radiator hose was hot too and after a leak down test, pressurizing the coolant system and sealing up all the leaks, and re-torquing the head studs that was the only thing I could think of.

Sure I could probably just come by and BS for a little on a day when I'm not working. It should take a whole 5 seconds?

Also if you have a bad boost leak and the turbo is over boosting too hard for too long it will eventually kill your turbo. I didn't see anybody mention that yet.

I had jacks rebuild my transmission with the economy 1.3 welded center diff build and I've been happy with it for over 1.5 years. The welded center diff chews up the outside of my tires but not too bad and I believe jacks rated it to 500hp. The thing is a champ!! Just a little insight on one of...

+1 for megan racing!! I have a 1g and it sounds fantastic so it shouldnt be too different of a sound on a 2g and it still comes out at angle.
