Car misfires during/after getting into boost SOMETIMES.The weird part is that after boosting, it only misfires for a little bit (10-15 seconds) and starts idling fine but if i build boost again, it will repeat that process).

I had a similiar problem, and i also own a 2ga 4g63t talon which the cas was behind the cam gear. I replaced the CAS and it fixed my misfiring problems.
I got a 3g BMC/BB but it seems that the bubble flared fitting on the master cylinder is a 12mm, not 10mm like the stock lines. Does the 3g BMC come in many variations? (did the V6 3g eclipse come with a 12mm fittings?)

Found out my problem. The evo 8 injectors required the InjBatteryAdj in the direct access to be lowered. Set them back to stock and dialed them in at -47.3% global and she runs good again! Although I had to lower deadtime to about 240microseconds to get the CombinedFT to hover around 0%.
I just put in my FIC 850cc injectors along with the 20g.

I found that on classifieds you can find a 38mm tial ewg for like 75-150ish and then the external wastegate flanged o2 housing can be had for like 150 if you find a good deal.
Just wondering, why do you have to change your cat because of a new manifold? Stock exhaust pipes are 2.25" or 2.14" something like that so no a 3" wouldn't fit. You'd need an adapter of some sort. Nice to see a local though! hahaha
Most people would say just go with a 3" so you'd never have to upgrade again. And it's not always loud with full 3" exhaust. I have a thermal r&d catback with a 3" downpipe with no resonators or cat and the sound isn't loud at all; And no droning either. Depends on what kind of muffler...
i took my turbo out today and saw that the turbine housing was ported too much, and the turbine housing wall was too thin and the heat got the best of it...blow a hole right through it :( ahhh it was a genuine evo 3 turbine housing too lol. Going to put on my 6cm hotside from my 14b for now...
I've recently put on my vrsf fmic, and my evo 3 16g boost creeped to 23psi. I was WOT until I heard some sound like a "whoosh" I thought I blew a coupler off or something but when I got out and checked, all the couplers were on tight. My wideband was still telling me good idle air fuel ratios...
^ that and did you recently rebuild it? because similar thing happened to me and i found out that the circlip that holds the compressor housing to the CHRA wasn't on properly so when i boosted it leaked a bunch of air through it.
I'm about the buy this downpipe from a local for a really good deal, but he has the 1g awd dowpipe w/ test pipe. He says that it'll fit but i'm not too sure. I'm wondering if that will fit on my 2g awd, anyone on tuners ever fit an RRE 1g awd downpipe on a 2g awd??Thanks guys.
