I want $5,500 FOR ALL OF THIS. You can have any misc pieces I forgot that are sitting in my garage. NO PART OUTS NO NEGOTIATION. This is STUPID cheap.I just want it out of my garage. It is a running 95 Talon TSI AWD with a 97+ eclipse front, bumper was professionally painted. All original...
Current tune should be on the car. It won't "lose" a tune unless it was erased. Do you have a spare stock ecu/setup to start it with just to rule out the AEM?
Someone finally picked up that car eh? One of the most knowledgeable AEM tuners in the country is in Portland, OR. John Reed. One of the best DSM shops in the country is in Camas, WA. Neither are close to you.Is the tune off? You sure the wiring is complete and done right? The guy had the...
You have no idea what I have owned in the past. None of them were as slow as a 3KGT VR4. If you want to put up money I will drive to your shithole town and run you in my current car. Maybe that will keep your childlike mouth quiet. $2k minimum + travel expenses. My friends in Boise will join us...
ROFLBoy the members of this club just keep making it look so inviting! I can guarantee any one of my past cars has had 3x as much HP as anything you have owned. If it was my Supra, EVO, Corvette, DSM, 240sx,...it wouldn't have mattered I still wouldn't have checked out your "club". Clubs are...
I am just going to highlight one thing. I hope you are not the spokesman for this club. Just quit trying, you are "terribad". :DBTW: "Siege Motorsports" would be the correct spelling. Not "Seige". When you can't spell your club name correctly it's time to off yourself.
Or maybe some of us have been around so long we have seen things like these come and go and pick up on patterns of failure? Just a thought. Not all of us are "punk kids" and some might have been building cars before you had your drivers license. :thumb:
Fostering a healthy car "community" usually doesn't involve specific "clubs" or badging of members. The very basis of having a club creates separation, competition, and rivalry. If you truly want to create the biggest impact for your charities then you should probably open up your gates a...
How about this, lets compare "performance mods". If I have more than you, I get to be President of the club.BTW: Your spelling and grammar makes me think....
You don't judge on the car or the build you have.....but you require three "performance" modifications. Can I join? I have performance tires, performance oil, and performance spark plugs. ;)
You mean the car you bought had them already, right?English Racing recommends 6 bolt ARP's for 6bolt block/7bolt head builds unless you just want to plunk down the cash. They stand by their head surfacing techniques. If you have the cash and are planning on a wild build then by all means...
Great numbers. Wish it was in SAE and RPM. I should be going full boost run on my 6266 TSI in late April. Our compression numbers will be different but that's about it.
Oh ok, there is a guy that has an STi in my neighborhood.Good call on not selling the GSX. It's exactly what I would have wanted if I was aiming for more of a comfy DD DSM. Looks great.
Is it blue with exhaust and live in the South Salem area?EDIT: Damn just looked at your GSX, let me know if you ever sell it I will probably buy it on the spot.
Sounds more like the result of mechanical issue and not a break-in problem. I have used moto-man on my old 240sx as well as my old Supra. I plan to use it with the DSM as well.
XXR has some nice looking wheels for cheap pricing. Everyone's finances are different but I think for the average person paying more in wheels than what most DSM's are worth is dumb.I like these in gunmetal:
XXR 521
I am not on the hellaflush band wagon but I am on the "properly fitting your car" bandwagon I guess. It looks like under any type of cornering the fenders could rub/cut into the tire. Also the wider tire does not automatically = better traction. The tread compound is much more important.
English Racing's Aaron just posted up this thread:http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/dyno-talk/426118-old-test-done-again-hks-272-vs-gsc-s2-30hp-gain.htmlI would suggest reading through that and deciding from there. GSC S2's sure seem like a great option if you aren't on a major budget. :thumb:
Is this actually an issue? Before beginning cutting of the bumper wouldn't it make more sense to make sure your cooling system is functioning properly? Even plug in a lower temp thermostat, change fans, etc.
That's a tuning issue, you should be able to speed up the idle. The larger cams are generally going to need to idle SLIGHTLY higher depending on your set-up.
