so i recently installed a new 1.8l motor in my 91 laser and notice that there are 2 wires running down to the oil filter area...... and there is 2 plugs there one on a larger thick round piece and one on a small thin round piece....i am guessing one is my oil pressure sending unit and one is a...

im pulling the motor and trans out of my 1.8l laser....its a 91 5 speed .....i was just wondering if there is any way to remove the drive axles without removing the hubs on my car......just looking to see if theres an easier wayany one?

head lights and tail light tinting is easy....auto zone has a rustoleum brand light tint spray and oriley has vht night shades....u can get vht online. ive done every light on my 1g....if u want it glossy sand the lights with 600 grit then spray the tint.....apply as needed i did 4 coats on my...

its a manual 91 laser.....up this is my first 4 cylinder car but tools arent a problem. i work on cars all the time and have changed other motors just never my dsmclutch was done like a week before the car blew up lol so i should just pull tranni to? then swap the tranni to the new...

okay so tomorrow i plan on pulling my 1.8l to replace it with another 1.8 (long story). I was just wondering if there are any major tricks I need to know. I've done other motors in Camaros and other big cars. My dad said i may need to take of my tranni mounts so i can tip it at on upward angle...

just so you guys all know how its going i just pulled the old motor .....i picked up a 1.8 out of a 93 eclipse with 5xxx on a rebuild for 100 dollars .....it should be in this next week .....i will post picks then

Ik its not the best color but I painted the car for 150 dollars including the side skirts a new fender and tinted tail lights :)

my cars the same color :.(.....but i just looked up parts on rock auto and it looks a little worse then yours....200 and up for just a ring kit :(how much do u think ill pay for a good 1.8?.....and the newer 2.0 will fit with a different ecu and harness?

i no the head gasket went and it would need to me bored and new pistons so a rebuild would cost around 1200 and a lot of time....i already have a lot of time in painting the car so im looking for more of a swap but ill keep a rebuild in mindJDM Engine - JDM Motors - JDM Parts - JDM...

while driving my freshly painted 1991 laser 1.8 liter 5 speed (first dsm :)) with 170xxx miles the oil pressure dropped and car died...now i believe the motor is seized :ohdamn:....im a poor high school kid so i ether need to find a cheap swap or shes going to a bone yard....i really cant see...
