I am glad you got it all worked out and the vender helped out as well. Its always good to see venders that take the time to help trouble shoot instead of saying "Bring the car back and we will check it out " only to charge another fee to find the issue.Good job :)
I would probably spend 20$ on carfax.com report and get a full history report. It should let you know if it was stolen in the past. I used it on my 81 Monte Carlo SS due to getting it in a "Shady" deal transaction but in the end, it was all legit.
I hear you tybucki! I have a 420A engine doing the SAME EXACT THING! I have checked the timing numerous times, changed the crank sensor, cam sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, ECU, and IAC and this car will still not run properly. Good luck with your car man! We all need it.
Thanks Jmon! That is the one! He took his time and such but cutting the frame is a must to get the 4g63 to work due to the trans "hump" is on the opposite side on the 420A
*UPDATE!*Ok, yesterday I changed the Cam Sensor and rechecked the wiring on my crank sensor. All of it looks good but still does not run. I am going to take the injectors out today if i can figure out a way to get them out LOL without having to take the whole intake off.This car saddens me :(
There is a thread on DSMtalk (Ive posted it before but cannot find it). It shows a guy do this full swap. He had to cut the frame on the passenger side to allow the 4g63 trans to be able to fit.
My speedo still works, I can drive it around my yard but flooring it will backfire and bog down until it cuts off. I am going to recheck all wireing down to the CPS and CAM
OK yesterday I took the timing cover off and checked timing at the crank and again at the cams and it is dead on... all that work just to find the timing belt is not my problem. Im at a loss for words. WHAT CAN I DO?

Hmm well it maybe but to rule out hardware failure, he can download HIREN's Boot CD and load mini windows XP to see if it freezes again. If it does then I would assume hardware related issues.
