Synchros. My old one did the same thing and so did the Camaro we used to have. Synchro were bad on both.

I had a similar problem on a car with a bad coil. Check that, too.

Check you ground connection. You are having to connect through the body instead of almost directly like before. Sand the end of the Ground wire and the area where it is supposed to connected. Then make sure the bolt is very clean and not rusty. Reconnect it all and it should help at least a...

If it sits any different or the line is pulled any or loosened any then it will cause a little idle differences, check you idle adjustment. make sure everything is set back right and where it is supposed to be, that would be my first check.

Eh I would say that neither of them are completely terrible but I still prefer my DSM over both.

I made it to 127 one time but people have said that they top out at 125. So with a little give in the speedometer That is about right. So I want to get past that.

I have a 99 N/T, and the amount of road noise I get is really annoying, It sounds like a gigantic tin can. I have looked and there is pretty much no sound deadening in the whole car. What would be a cheap way to go about quieting things down, or a cheap sound proofin material? Thanks
