That is correct!
I calibrated the dyno to read within 1-2% from our previews dynojet tests on this car.Car has gone 10.2-10.0s/ 139-142mph on 63Xhp (there is videos from this car on both dynos and same results on youtube).
Then 9.8s 146mph bogging on 68Xhp.
We'll see what it runs now.
Later on...
It was big! 9.82@146!!!
we acomplished what we wanted on the same stock short block we ran all year and it did more than expected for us :)
Couldn't be more thankful for that motor...
Ok, duty cycle is currently at 70.29% @ 37 psi.
Me, as the tuner, decide in what gear i'm tuning a car, and that depends on a lot of factors, mainly gear ratio, power levels, etc. If people were familiar with how a dyno (which is just a tool to optimize performance) works, would understand this...
Well, we do have the luxury and access to both dynojet and mustang dynos and have tested on both with very similar results.
But you can take this as a starting point:
This car already went 10.7@130 with 509hp on the same mustang dyno....don't forget dynos are just tools and in the end all that...
