Might seem dumb, but make sure your rims arent bent, i had a very similar problem from 55-60 there would be a shake and one of my rims was bent. Bought some stock gst rims and havent had the problem since.
about a week ago i started to have a shudder in my right wheel while my clutch is engaging. All the research I've done makes me think it might be clutch chatter but i just put a new clutch ( act 2100 with street disc) and an act streetlite flywheel in less than 5000 miles ago. Just wanted to get...
I would reccomend getting coilovers, but coilovers can be pretty pricey. Personally i have Tokico HPK springs and struts. The ride quality is decent, but almost any coilovers are definatally better. But at less than half the price i had to go for it.
I actually tried something very similar to that and it worked great for the 1" hole behing the glass, but the 2 holes on the sides arent exactly round, so using those the corners dont get covered. i just went to lowes looked in the section with all the screws and fasteners until i found...
Yup, It's actually very easy. just take the plastic cover off the inside of the hatch and unscrew all the screws. and to fill the holes i just bought plastic screw type things and used silicone to prevent any water from getting in. There is going to be 5 holes in total.
Sounds like that is what i am doing! and ed1380 Thanks for reminding me about the flashable ecu! i forgot and one is actually for sale right by be for $135 so that with the tatrix 2.0 openport and evo scan wil be alot cheaper than dsmlink
i was actually thinking about the srs catback, one of my friends has one on his wrx and loves it. I just said the megan racing catback because i have heard it on a dsm before and know it doesnt sound bad, Ive never heard the srs on a dsm. I dont want anything too ricey or fart can sounding
Alright, so i think im going to go with the evo 3 16g and keep the stochh 02 sensor housing, if i have a problem with boost creep i can alway port the o2 sensor housing out for way cheaperr than the evo3 o2 sensorhousing and another downpipe. I will definetly rewire the fuel pump, but is a 190...
I kind of thought the injectors were a little big but i figured they cost the same as the 780s that i was planning on getting and even the 680s (this is from stm) so i might as well go bigger. And the biggest problem with the E3 16g is wouldn't i need the evo 3 o2 sensor housing to fit on that...
I havent really been much of an active member on here, but i've done a ton of research and i decided to build my 97 TSi (FWD) and was just looking opinions on my plans. I'm only 17 so im sort of on a budget but i have no problem waiting a little longer to save up money to do it right. In the...
For the exhaust you dont "need" anything else. An o2 sensor housing that flows better would help but isnt necesarry in most cases. And for the Front Mount you could just buy a reducing couplers to fit onto the turbo. Did the FMIC setup come with a TB elbow and that isnt fitting on the manifold...
Its running rich because there is too much fuel compared to the amount of air. Do a boost leak test, it is probably the most common reason for running rich.
I would check the oil and plugs, and a FMIC isnt necessary unless you get a larger than stock turbo. If you want one, all the power to you, but the stock Side mount can handle pretty much anything the t-25 can throw at it.
I think that its looks really good on red and black eclipses, but on the lighter colors like silver and white i dont really like it, and i agree with Black Widow, it wouldnt look good at all on a 1g
