No! Did you do the stall test I suggested? "Overdrive", you have moved to a problem beyond you first question, call IPT and ask what a complete overhaul will run you?
"Our new flex plate is three times thicker then the factory stamped steel flex plate"With the TC seated in the trans pump on a W4A33/F4A33 trans, what is your given distance/measurement from the TC mounting feet/pads to the flex-plate as related to stock values? Also, what effect does this...
Not sure of the relationship between the T-case and a possible TCU issue? Anyway, have to drive the car more than "50 feet" to find if the trans is in "limp mode". Starts out in third gear and never changes when in limp mode, is that not right? Good luck on the TCU check, not sure if I have a 1G...
Actually the Ramchagers out of Detroit with their alter-wheel base Dodge 426 Hemi, Hilbron injectors and using the push button Torqueflight transmission were the only ones running the times in the 70's you are referencing too, they even got into the 8's with a race only car. Chevy had a 454 ci...
At 65 years of age, I hope I can be considered one adult following the DSM A/T issues. With some bad tuning, a axle booth throwing grease and a cold track, we made one run already this year of 11.1@129 with a 1.54 60'. With a vision of being the first with a street driven full weigh A/T DSM in...
Always refreshing to put somebody down, enhancer of the old "ego", right! What be your best time with that TO4B-H3 will pumping that there 2600 clutch and pulling your stick?-Bob
Right on target young man, I had thoughts of opening a house of prostitution to add funds beyond my Social Security check but I realized I would have to work the business by hand until I got some women, I dropped that idea..Sorry, never check gas milage! Is it time to get back on the...
If street means "city" driving, I find it to be a great driver with the Limit Engineering Ball Bearing turbo. I usually drive around town with the OD button out and with a car that can run a 1.54 60ft time, she has no issues between stop lights. Also, out on the highway, the trans locks into OD...

Sorry, my dyslexia can into play reading your first note. If you are doing away with the AC, you will need to either cut the bottom right hand corner off the compressor bracket or make your own spacer from washers and use either as a spacer behind the bearings left arms bolt hole.. The left hand...
I have no insight into your bracket question? Push the axle into the trans, rotate the pillow block bearing to touch the block and the right threaded holes on the block should line up with the holes on the bearing arms.. If not, where did you get your six bolt block?-Bob
To the block! Rotate it over against the block, push-up on the axle at the pillow block and you should find one threaded hole at the right bottom side(looking at fiewall side of the motor from under the car) of the AC compressor bracket, the other threaded hole is to the right of that hole.-Bob
Yes! IPT is the where to go if you want a AT trans build that will hold 4G63T power for both the street and strip. John put a trans together for me that has performed beyond my expectations, I thought with a upgraded shift kit and end clutch the stock trans would hold for ever, didn't happen...
AT has its own computer(TCM)! It matters only when using a 1G AT ECU in a 1G MT car as the 1G AT ECU is mapped for 390cc injectors. 95 AT ECU will work find in a 97 MT car, just switch the plug wires. Do your home work?Bob
Interesting! I have been using 100% B&M Originial Trick Shift in my AWD Eclipse since 1998 and have not had a trans failure because of a seal problem. Has anyone produced/shown a seal, "trick shift volumizes the transmission seals", from a DSM AWD or FWD turbo trans that created a trans...
