  1. FWD = 2.99 60ft @ 82mph!

A whole lot of bench racing going on here. Here is the very simple point. 1/8 track sucks for a FWD with a BigT28. you will need slicks without a doubt or some kick butt drag radials. You should take it out to a 1/4 mile track and focus on your trap speeds. I guarantee you that on 21 pounds...

Daniel,Definitelyglad to hear that you are happy with the car. I know you will take good car of it. Just dont wreck this one  You and your wife are super cool people, I could not have asked for better buyers.Like a few others had stated, I did my best to tune it. I think we did...
  3. 2g GUYS WHAT FMIC DO YOU USE TO KEEP YOUR STOCK FOGS???

You have a few options here.1. Make your own. Get a griffin core from RRE and have the end tanks both point to the passengers side. Then get pipes made2. Buy the Apex'i FMIC kit. It will got a little bit more, but you dont have to do any fab work. It bolts right on and will let you...
  4. Thinking about getting a red eclipse

Cops do not specifically target red cars. This is nothing more than a myth.Insurance companies do not charge you more based on the car of your car. This is a fact!Get the red and be done with it. You will love it :thumb:
  5. Thinking about getting a red eclipse

  6. really good picture, lets see yours

This is the only picture that I like of my car. I am by no means a photographer, nor do I know anything about pictures. But, for some odd reason I just really love this picture. It just looks right. Oh well, here it is in low res (800x600) format:

  8. O2's Dropping.....need some advice

I havent replaced this one just yet. The one that is currently in there, I had installed about 35,000 miles ago. But, for the last couple of months, I have been running pig rich (different reasons). So, I am think that I burnt it out.I will get my timing fixed as soon as my cams come in...
  9. O2's Dropping.....need some advice

I haev tried to richen it up, however that doesnt seem to help. Actually, if I set the AFC to 0 across the board, the car bucks bad (too rich).I cant read my knock count (being a 2g). However, my timing is rather low that moment, but that is because my timing belt is currently off my one...
  10. O2's Dropping.....need some advice

I am having a bit of an odd problem. When I hit about 5000 rpms at WOT my O2 readings start to drop rather quick down to the .65-.75v range. I am getting these reading from both a datalogger and my built in O2 sensor on my turbo timer. In first and second gear, I dont have the problem...

  12. Windows XP goin to run smoothly? (computer guys!)

You are exactly right. Fresh starts are always the best option.Personally I love Windows XP SP1. So long as you dont load on stupid apps and loads of spyware, it is actually very stable.
  13. Windows XP goin to run smoothly? (computer guys!)

I can assure you, if I have sand in my underwear, I would definitely change them :thumb:I didnt say anyone was questionning me. I sometimes put those little comments in there, so people dont think I am some normal idiot who thinks they know about computers.Relax man....I am not trying...
  14. Windows XP goin to run smoothly? (computer guys!)

Actually he is correct. So quit knocking on him. You can ALWAYS convert ANY FAT32 file system to NTFS. You, cannot divert it back though. You do not have to reformat the drive. And please dont question me....I have been a computer engineer for over 7 years.Later, Nathan

  17. All You Engineers i got a question

If you are in the area of Indiana, the Rose-Holman is tough to beat. Their cirriculum (sp) is tough to beat. The are rated in the top three of engineering schools in the country. However, I believe they are a bit pricey.
  18. Another crazy gym vid *not repost*

I agree with you 100%. While I love watching Capoiera, and am amazed how they could perform their moves, I love fighting against them. I went against a guy in an open tournament awhile back. He was dancing around looking good, trying to kick me with some back tuck kicks. But, he made one...

Why do you two guys want to sell your 2G20G? I thought it was supposed to be a a great turbo. Are you not happy with it? Did it not put down the numbers that you wanted? Was it not powerful enough for you.Just curious, because I am looking to buy one, and I may purchase one of your alls...

That is what I had thought. So, I will look into getting new injectors. Hell isnt the Supra Fuel Pump a 190lph? If so, it can handle alot too.Appreciate the help gang.Nathan
  27. Fuel Setup for a 20G? Advice please.

I currently have a FP BigT28 with 550cc injectors and a 190lph pump. I am looking into getting a 20G (either the SBR 2g20g or a TD06 20G). My question is will the 550's and he 190lph be enough for 18 lbs on 93 octane? Based on RRE injector/psi chart it will. But, I wanted some more advice...
  28. Question about ACT 2100 and a 20G

No, I would not reve to 6k then slip the clutch at 20. Whenever, I down shift, I always rev match (heel toe technique). I never dump the clutch, and rarely slip the clutch. I really never launch the car (because I dont take the car to the track). However, I was just curious if it would hold...
  29. Question about ACT 2100 and a 20G

I currently have a BigT28 with an ACT2100. Right now I have no problems with the clutch, and I never take my car to the track. Hence, I generally dont race from a dead dig, but rather on the highway. Now, I was looking into purchasing the SBR 2G20G, but was curious if my ACT2100 will hold...
  30. Odd lighting problem

Ah ha....so that is what the two filaments are for. I was wondering about that earlier. Thanks for the clarification.Nathan
  31. Odd lighting problem

Your bet was correct. It was a bad bulb. Still kinda funny, that the turn signal worked, but the parking light didnt.Oh well, problem resolved. Thanks again guys.Nathan :dsm:
  32. If you have a red 2g and have pictures(gallery etc.) come on in

Thanks for the compliments guys. I do my best to keep it clean and real year round. However, I am trying to sell the car. I have always wanted a Honda S2000, and that is what I am trying to get. But, I cant seem to sell my DSM.Come to think of it, I think KrazyKorean just got an S2000...

  35. Odd lighting problem

I will give it a try. I guess I can check the ground coming out of the harness? Perhaps there is a fuse that could be blown. I could check that as well.Any more suggestions?Nathan
  36. Odd lighting problem

For some odd reason my passenger parking light is off when I have my parking lights on. But, when I hit the turn signal, it illuminates and flashes appropriately.Anybody know why this is? It is driving me crazy. Thanks, Nathan :dsm:
  37. Big16G Dyno sheet

You are correct about that. If he plans on going with 660's then you will want to bump up to a standalone. SAFC+660's+Stock ECU = very difficult time tuning.
  38. Your fav DSM color (stock)

Only in very odd lights. most of the time it looks red. when the car is dusty and when the sun is going down, it looks abit orange. But, when its clean and its sunny or cloudy it still looks red. However, I clean and wax the shit out of my car. So, I am certain that has something to do...
  39. Your fav DSM color (stock)

Here is another angle with a slightly different light:
  40. Your fav DSM color (stock)

I love my color red. Whatever in the hell Mitsu calls it.Nathan
  41. FP Big t-28 vs. FP Big 16G!

Good choice, you will not be dissappointed. However, launching will be difficult. Eventually you will learn how to properly launch the car my slipping the clutch and feathering the throttle. Once you get the hang of it, I think you will feel very rewarded, as it is more difficult to launch a...
  42. FP Big t-28 vs. FP Big 16G!

I am sorry, but this just is not true. The big 16G will not walk all over the big t28. Dont be fooled by its size, it can propel you in the twelves without alot of difficulty, provided you are a good driver. Of course, if you are FWD, then you will need slicks.
  43. Bad Temp Sensor or Bad Thermostat. How can I tell? Need help

Wow, this has been a long time. I replaced the tstat. Everything is peachy now :)Thanks, Nathan

  47. How to check if the wastegate flapper is stuck open?

Anyone know exactly how to do this? I currently have the FP Big T28, and I am running dog rich ,but cant seem to boost past 0.4 bar. If I do then the car starts to buck like a bi***.I was also getting an error code PO170: Fuel Trim (bank 1). I believe this is a malfuntcion, but I am not...
