wrong the ej255 is the 2.5l sohc na engine ie 2.5rs.... the "newer" sti(v7 and up) engine is a ej257 dohc turbo it comes in anything turbo newer than 05-06 (ie xt gt exc). the ej22b is the v6 (version 6) sti as well as the legacy turbo 90's era.
I have been discussing it with the wife, unless someone offers me a a lot of money its not worth the hassle of building another race car down the road. Surprisingly enough my wife was sad when I said I was gonna sell it!
I just recently installed a Sd Evo ecu from English racing it runs great a lot better than I did before, I'm just waiting for my ecu flash cable and software and I'll dial it in on the dyno.
LOL I am Jared Justin is my twin brother but that is still awesome!!! :thumb:Put them to good use!! Maybe we can line up at the track this year just let me know when your going up.Hahah ok I sure will.
Thanks for the input, I welded mine 7 or 8 months ago and I love the way it launches now. I can say however with a welded center and rear it takes a few people to push it around the shop, other than that I am glad I went this route!
I had this guy named Randy at American auto in northglenn spray it out for me, I dont think I'm gonna street this car at all, but you will see me at the track for sure!
it cost me $658.89 for all 6 windows it might be cheaper for you because my car was the first 2g they did but it should all be in the CAD now.Colorado plastic products, inc 303 443 9271
Turns out the manifold I was using on the dyno was cracked all the way around the t3 flange and the bottom of the wg flange. I picked up a punishment racing twin scroll manifold and 2, tial mvr 44mm waste gates, now all I need is a magnafuel pump...
I was just playing around guys no need to take a simple joke personal, I admit my car was slow when it ran the 12.5 but I was on 17psi with spinning 215/50's(with last years setup still dd). I am not trying to compare my car to anyone's, ugly betty will be on the track next season with a goal of...
What about running 2 044 pumps in parallel I have herd of people running around 800whp with that setup. My goal is around that number, however with my elevation being a factor I'm not sure if those pumps will support the fuel flow required.
I'm running a fuel cell so I don't think that the walbro 450lph would work. I have been considering an A1000, but I just spent all my coin for the month on a Magnus smim.
my paint guys mom died a few weeks ago so my car hasn't been painted yet but this is what she looks like out front of my shop.Ugly Betty - Waiting for paint DSMtuners Gallery
The ideal reciprocating engine oil viscosity is one that has relatively high film strength with the lowest viscosity possible. I run 15w 40 and I still prime my engine for 15-20 seconds prior to start up in my race car.
