+1 on this, I had the same problem and it was my drain lines in the hatch jamb (one on LH side and one on RH side) that were clogged up with 15 years worth of grime. I just stuck a coat hangar wire down them a few times until they were "clean".

Funny thing, I had these similar problems on my first motor before it spun a rod bearing. I replaced all of the sensors including the ones you mentioned in the OP and the CPS, but they never made a difference. After I spun a bearing, I swapped a new motor in it and never had the problems again...
