    check ecu...if everything physically inside the engine bay checks out, ecu injector drivers would cause this.

    u could get away with shimming the valves if its not too bad...my guess is you didnt bleed the lifters and it bent a valve upon initial start up...always bleed lifter...takes 15 mins but its a peace of mind...

    nah we installed them straight up on the stock dsm head, all u need is the titanium retainer that comes with the springs, the stock dsm retainer wont fit...plus u shave some weight off since the evo springs are probably one of the lightest valve spring/ retainer combo

    it all depends on the tune..and how it was rebuilt...ostar put out 749awhp ...thats alot of power on the stock block..and thats 749 to the wheels...i know of a few dsms at 600awhp stock 6 bolt reliable...so like i said it all comes down to the tune, and the maintenance..

    ok guys, so last night the car was at 23psi evo316G...mods are 2g piston/1g rod, built head, fp272s, magnus smim on e85 with supported mods..tuned on v3...well the car ran great until after doing a few hard pulls, noticed some noise from the bay..or underneath the car...like two metal rubbing...

    i had a similar issue where i didnt have dowel pins when i put the head back on and went ahead and installed it anyway....the dowel pins will keep the head in place with added support.

    actually the 2g maf and 550cc can be ran without a tune...the 2g maf evens out the bigger injectors...you probably have boost leaks from the throttle body, i had issues where it would idle high after warm up..

    im running e85...you will need at least a 1000cc injectors, something to tune it with, you can get away with a safc but id recommend link to take full advantage of tuning and messing with the timing tables and a bigger fuel pump.

    its a 2g maf its almost good enough for cruising at 14.7 with the 550s....your problem is something else, stock injectors are 450cc ...if you feel the turbo spool and not enough power like something is stopping it/holding it back, its knock or phantom knock...

    okay looks like your on correct MAF settings, if its running too lean id add fuel since every car is different, going by the global and deadtime settings with what the injector manufacturer recommends, is just a base number, you have to mess with it to what your car likes, as far as your coolant...

    thats why you use a gasket to install ityour 1g bov must have the dejon tool leak stop mode where u drill a hole,right near the valve itself, because my 1g bov sits perfect.

    you sure your throttlebody shafts are okay? thats a common leak and a big one and well mess with your base timing settings...and having the cas all the way advanced isnt a good thing, id get this issue fixed first before you go driving it.

    they shouldnt, bc the actual valve is the same diameter of the hole on the flange..the greddy holes will just be covered by the gasket, cmon man its simple just line up the bov and bolt it on..

    i use that uicp in my setup, and use a 1g bov, you just have to use the other holes since the 1g bov is larger...the diameter of the valve is the same so dont worry.

    check the coolant sensor and cool gauge sensor, when the coolant temp. sensor wont work, youl have a hard time to get it to crank, i would just change them.
