Im debating with myself to either buy a brand new "small "16g turbo or upgrade my turbo with a 16g wheel. Give me your thoughts price and power wise.Also where should I have it sent to and let do the work on it. Thanks
I found a pump on ebay but it doesnt say OEM its from Sealing Tek...never heard of em. I just really want my build to go good and not have my oil pump lock up because its poorly made :/ Ever heard of them or would you even put that in your car

I need to do a engine swap. Its the same as the old engine, just the new engine has machine work. Everything on it is new, except exhaust and turbo( which I might want to rebuild, but I need to find out where to have that down at in houston) Out of MDR Performance, FWD Performance and F.I.S.T...
I ported my 1g cylinder head and wanted to install 3g lifters, but I have stock retainers and springs. Could I get away with that or I need to upgrade everything else in the head?

Ok, Should I get a Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit or not worth it? If I should, are they hard to install and what all should the kit come with. Because im rebuilding my motor already and heard here and there about the kit, just need to know is it worth it for people rebuilding? Thanks
Make sure they are actually going to be doing the entire short block. Most machine shops assembling of short block just include, file fitting and installing the rings, installation of crankshaft, installing the pistons into the block and installation of the balance shaft elim kit. not the front...
Right now, im just getting it back running. Im putting in oversized OEM pistons. I would like to get around 300hp...for nowOh ok. The machine shop is assemble the short block and installing all the gaskets for the block. Since they are doing that, would I still need the full gasket set?
Ok, my block is at the machine shop and when I get it back I want to assemble everything myself, can someone tell me every single thing I will need for my rebuild ( Gaskets, certain type of head gasket, oil pump..ect) Its a 1990 GST 6 bolt engine. Thanks everyone

My passenger side headlight is dim because the wiring that connect to the back of the headlight are about to break because of the headlight popping up and going down so many times. What could I do or use to fix my wiring on the connector?

I cleaned both cables and have brand new connection terminal. I checked connection alsoI found this unconnected cable that is joint with the positive cable to the battery...would this be the reason why it's not starting and where does it connect to?

Ohh ok. So if im just replacing the one that goes onto the engine, I don't need to disconnect the one that controls the headlighs, horn..ect because I disconnect all the wires for the engine and didn't know if I need to disconnect the other wires.Also what is the best way to put the new wiring...
Ok, I started disconnecting my engine harness and I wanted to make sure, I only have the engine harness but I don't know if I also need another harness wiring( headlights,turining signal..ect)...if my question makes any sense
I having a hard time starting my car sometimes. I checked starter and battery..both are fine, so I think it's my alternator. Sometimes the only way I can start it either disconnect and reconnect the battery or pop the clutch on a roll..
Well your problem kind of sounds like my problem I have/had. It would misfire would trying to take off and I looked at it and saw my intercooler pipe came loose( big vacuum leak) check for any vacuum leaks. Im having a problem right now, I was driving yesterday and it started making this...
I opened and smelled the ECU and it's no burn smell. I also notice it only idles weird after it warms up and I drove it around for like 5 mins :confused:
the ecu is brand new. The dash boost gauge is what im talking about. Some people say I have a huge vaccum leak and some say my TPS is bad, I think it's an air problem but im not for sure
So I was driving and then I downshift before getting on the freeway and got to about 5,000 rpm and went to about 6,500 rpm and shifted and then it started hesitating so I slowed down and then my boost gauge stayed at 12psi even when I slow down and it was misfiring and then started drinking...
