I've been messaging the guy back and forth. Really thinking about picking this up on Wednesday. He sent me a pic of the odometer. It has 1800 miles now. Also he sent me some under body pics. Looks amazing.
Alright I was wondering why noone did it lol. I've been searching trying to find something and couldn't find anyone trying to do that. Oh well I guess I'll leave it how it is. :thumb:
Alright I had a quick question. I took my charcoal canister out a long time ago. I always had a fp intake pipe so there was no hole for the hose so I just took it out. Now I just have the vent hose pointing at the ground. I was wondering if I could just run that hose back into the intake pipe. I...
Looking for a hood for my car. Doesn't have to be perfect. If it needs painted or cleared that's fine. As long as there is no cracks I'm good. Can go to PA or close sates to find one.
I have a full blitz body kit for sale. I can drive a little ways to meet half way. I am asking $400 obo. Was installed but wasn't painted. The front bumper is the only piece with paint on it. All pieces are polyurethane! I can send more pics if anyone wants them.
Depending if your running e85 or pump gas. Pump gas I would say 1000's should do it but the 1200's would probably be safer. I use 880's at 23 psi on a 50 trim and still have some room to grow with the cycle duty.
I bought these from extreme psi for $350 plus processing and crap I am looking to get $250 for them. I have used them about 3k miles still like new. I am taking them out tonight so they will be ready to ship tomorrow.
Redline is what I use. I use shockproof in the transfer case and rear differential. I use 1 qt MTL mixed with 1 qt MT90 and for the .4 I put some shockproof in there.
I am looking for a fuel pump assembly. Doesn't need the feed line to be in good condition I will be cutting it off to weld on an AN bung. Pm me if you have one.
Thanks
Jon
I bought a new fuel tank gasket and I cant get this thing back on. I took the old one off a couple months ago and I forget how it goes on there. The bottom of the gasket looks like this /\ does that go on the gas tank piece that is threaded? /|\ so it looks like that? I can't get it to work...
I've never had to use a puller on mine. All I've ever done is take out the four bolts and it comes right off. Even when I took it off for the first time when my car had 80k it came right off.
Yeah I've had mine like that for a while but I don't have balance shafts. I just hooked up my AEM oil pressure gauge so I need to see what my oil pressure is. The hole was ported though for the OFH to lower the oil pressure. It is weird that this came with a restrictor I am going to call...
So are you saying get rid of the restrictor and just put my feed line straight to the ofh? That is how it was before with all the turbos I've had but this new ofh came with this restrictor on it so I figured they want you to use it. :P
Its wierd becasue my stock OFH didn't have this. When I bought the car it was 100% stock down there. So I don't know why this new one has a restrictor on it.

I found this but its NPT instead of...
I have an s256et and I love it. I really don't notice much of a difference in lag from my 16g and pulls harder. I was getting 23 ish lbs around 3800 rpms with a HAFE manifold. I now have a FP manifold so I don't know if that will make it laggier or not but I think this is a great turbo. I...
I just bought an oem 7bolt ofh. Now I noticed that it came with an oil restrictor but I would have to remove that restrictor to get my feed line to thread in. So I need an adapter so I can use that restrictor and my current Feed line. I was hoping summit would have it but I don't know what I...
You could get an evo3 manifold or forced performance manifold which will both work with the stock turbo. Your probably looking at t3 manifold which will not fit your stock turbo.
When I had my 16g it never creeped once I had it at 22lbs. That was with a 3'' exhaust and the smaller flapper door. Once you turn the boost up it will be fine.
:ohdamn: seven bolts on flywheel means it's a seven bolt. Most people will say the 6 bolt is better but people have high hp numbers with both. The 6 bolts are a little more resistant to crankwalk.
I broke one of my arps in my turbo that's the reason my cars not together yet. I never had any problems when I had a 16g but with my new turbo I just used the provided washers thats probably why it broke. Do the washers have to be the OEM ones or can you get some at lowes or home depot?
I got my engine done by Bill and haven't had any problems with it. My only complaint was that they didn't put revised lifters in it. Bill is a good guy and helped me with tuning and crap I would recommend them.
The b&m one seems to sit higher than the stock one. I have a b&m and I am going to cut like 2'' out of it to make it shorter. It's too long for my likings.
So what are You going to buy when you sell the car? Thats pretty badass it's actually a car made for the movie. I'm curious as to what you will get out of it.
Who decides what cheap is though?:p I mean a rich person gets a dsm puts 20k into it makes 600 hp and they would probably consider that being cheap and fast. A Shelby gt 500 is 60k ish so I mean for more hp and less than half the price that's cheap. :thumb:
I have Crower 272's and I have no complaints. They don't make as much power as the hks 272's they're more comparable to the hks 264's but I like them. They're fairly cheap and in my opinion a good cam for a 16g.
