Looking good man! I live in Appleton and am currently going to the tech to be an automotive tech. If you ever need any help just let me know id love to help out. I cant wait till im out of school and can build my talon.
Magnaflow 3" inlet 4" outlet. thats what i have on my talon and it sounds amazing IMO. it has a real deep and growly note to it. ill try to make a vid for u tomorrow.
Thanks for all the help guys! I think what im gonna do is pick up that fmic and uniersal piping kit today.. Ill see if i can get the piping to fit to the PR core, and if that doesnt work ill just get those 2 90 degree bends to complete the piping, sell the it, and use the money for a PR piping...
Ok so heres the deal. I purchased a used punishment fmic from a guy on here for $200. I must have missread the the add because when it came it was only the core , I thought it would include the piping. So now i would have to buy the pipeing kit from PR for $179... thats a totall of 380 spent for...
i havent driven my car since last fall and its killing me.. i am stuck driving my parents Ford Taurus:banghead: i dont know how you guys can go for so long without your driving your carsOMG
I feel like drinking makes boring things fun lol.. Ive never drank so much that i cant remember anything, but enough to have a good time. Im not "of age":shhh: but coming from Wisconsin, theres not really anything better to do lol. just live life and do what you feel.. totally up to you:thumb:
I got mine for like $80 from Dejon Power House.. It didnt help much performance wise, but there def. was a little difference. But with the pipe on the turbo screams at WOT, and also the bov is louder. Not to mention it adds a little flash to the engine bay;)

it will not bolt up to your stock cat-back because the pipe is much larger. If you are looking to make hp then go all the way and get a 3" turbo back. hope this helps:thumb:
yes ricrirculating the bov will reduce the "whoosh" sound greatly.
one isnt better than the other its a personal preference... but if you vent it to the atmosphere you will need MAFT, otherwise you will run rich.. hope that anwsers your questions.:thumb:
I have the same problem, im getting on average around 14mpg. Try replacing your o2 sensor, this might help a little. I'll be doing this to my car as soon as it warms up.
i have the stock pipe with a off-brand muffler and a cat delete on my talon, and i think it sounds alright. defninitly no the best way to go tho.. but i have a 3" turbo back on the way!
