Whats the difference in 1g mount vs a 2g mount? reason asking is i have a 95 tsi that had a 2.4 6-bolt in it but am placing a 2.0 7-bolt back in it. Will my current mounts work? or is there a difference in the way its bolted to the block.

u will need to change the clips on or wireharness all together that clips to engine. 6 bolt head has to be drilled out about 1/8" bigger to fit headstuds also theres a oil jacket that is recommended to be milled a lil bigger.

Check your starter solenoid my connecting the two posts with a screwdriver and see if it turns. If it turns and doesn't crank check the wires going from your injectors to the unit on the firewall.
Just look into the pressure tests. If u can't find any test then I would steer away. Just because it's a new company and not a leading brand doesn't mean it's not a good inter cooler
could be bad gas or fuel pump, bad cam sensor, at one point when you said u compress clutch it runs clean made me think your throw out bearing could be locking up. i would go and check your fuel system first.
timing could be off. pre-detnation can melt up calves. havve you ever changed your timing belt? if you have adjustable timing gears you might have them set too advanced in your timing.
alot has to do with what fuel you plan to run. for example if you run race fuel you will probibly want 750cc injectors to 1650cc or if you plan on running e85 i would suggest 1650-2250cc injectors. Also spending money on a good fuel pump would be a good idea . i think anything bigger then a...
Deff ran too hot or lean. Use GOOD oil and chance every 2000 ide suggest tops on a turbo engine. Seen wear like that if peoples used synthetic in their car and then cheaped out and ran regular oil after it can potentially wear and possibly blow parts and or ## engine.
