Looking for local dsm people. We have a group of dsm out here in slo county and want to reach out to more people maybe plan a meet sometime in the near future. Contact me directly on my cell 805-538-8798.
http://www.showmetheparts.com/empi/I have ordered many boots and are good quality and direct fit. Just make sure you look it up for an eclipse and not the galant for the 4 bolt axles.
I would just upgrade to the walbro 450 that's e85 compatible. There is no point to run a 255 and have if fail often. You already have a fuel pressure regulator I assume so it won't run any different other than having more flow. If you choose to not upgrade make sure you change the pre filter to...
It's funny how people are stuck on making a dodge neon motor fast. Can't help people who don't want help. Good luck op. I'll take my common 16g build and have some reliable fun while your there wrenching and dropping $$$
Yup not worth all the hassal. Not trying to crush your dreams. The motor in 180 to begin with and not compatible in many other places. Do some research on this site the info is there.
I ran the v1 68hta. I was pushing it to the max at 30 psi internal wastegate. At that psi I was getting compressor surge. If you have a built head the green is going to give you a better power band. If your limited to 7500 rpm I would stick to the 68 hta. It's a very fun hard hitting turbo. I...

I recently rebuilt some axles on a gvr4. The boots where cracked but there was nothing wrong with the rear axles. I wanted to save them from getting ruined so I searched for boots. There are a bunch of universal boots but they don't work the same. I found this website and it's not just for our...
I never ran a t3 hx40 from what I heard it should be closer to 5000 rpm full spool. My red is full spool by 4200 rpm so yea it does spool up much quicker but I believe the t3 hx40 is the best overall choice between the red and black.
I have a red and I like it but if I could do it over I would have gone t3 with a hx40. Spool up should be similar with more room to grow. Yea its more money for the manifold but the turbo is around the same price as fp red.
I would recommend a walbro 450 lph pump. Running one and it's been problem free. I think you should look into the HX 40. With your set up you should be able to rev up for the hx40 lag is not as bad as you think. Even though your not at full boost your still boosting and making power at 3500 rpm
Yes it's the one with the Barb fittings not the an fittings. I requested 1/2" barbs to help relieve more crank case pressure. I'm also running a 68 hta at 28 psi and do not blow the dip stick out. I switched to a 2g dip stick and haven't had trouble. My motor is also original block with 247k...
I recently bought a plug and play catch can from gamble garage. I was looking for some pictures or reviews. To what I understand you want a catch can with some sort of baffle that slows and catchs air flow. I was looking on the inside of the catch can I have and the baffle is just a piece welded...
Just depends on what your goals are with the car. The Evo ecu has plenty of options so does the 2g black box flashable ecu. I am currently using dsm link and it might be more $$$ but well worth it if your going e85. It has the ethenol sensor that can adjust min max octane maps and timing maps.
You gotta search man there is ton of info about your questions. Stock internals are fine for 16g. Just make sure you do compression test and leak down test to verify your motors health. The rest will come down to tuning. Head studs is a must for high psi if not you will blow head gasket.

http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/420a-to-4g63-swap-engine-mounts.412572/There are many other threads on this topic. There is also a guy working on a Evo 4g63 swap into his 420a just gotta look.Edit...
The other side should be easier to pull off. You should be able to see the one your trying to pull. Then get a piece of steel or something you can hit with a big hammer and hit the tip of the right axle. Be careful not to slip can damage splines on center diff.
I run a big-t28. Really depends on your goals of the car. I like the t28 but now I want more. Upgrading to a Evo 3 16g soon. Just go Evo 3 16g and call it a day. The turbo will take a lot to fully max out before you have to upgrade. You can run 10 psi on stock fuel system no problem.
The way I do it is I turn the crank back counter clockwise half a tooth so when you tension the belt it moves it to the right spot for the mark to line up. Get the tools to do a timing job like the plastic cam holder that was mentioned. Don't run your car until all marks line up or you risk bent...
I just use the SD table and adjust to get your wb to match your afr est.http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/how-to-tune-a-1g-v3-sd-ecmlink-with-no-maf.395564/
They base the value from nada. I just got my Mazda totaled. DD duty car. I checked on Nada I got paid pretty close to what was on there. They also take 3-4 car for sale around same condition and average the price out. So if they find 4 talon and price average around 2000 then that's what most...
Sounds like your looking for an oil leak. After all the years working on cars it is very uncommon for a head gasket to leak oil. Most likely its just a valve cover gasket getting down to the head gasket area. I highly recommend a compression check to see how the health of the motor is. It would...
Uv test? You mean block test? You can rent the tool and the fluid is cheap. There is instructions that come with tool but yes motor needs to be warmed up a bit.Block test is easy and that will give you a definite answer if your head gasket is blown
Unless the head is bad or has a blown head gasket there is no need to replace the head gasket. Doing a head right is a lot of work. It not just pulling the head and throwing a new gasket in it. I would start with a compression check and Leak down test and go from there.
You don't need to replace the valve cover bolts if your replacing a valve cover gasket. If that's the oil leak your talking about on top of the head. If you are talking about replacing a head gasket I recommend getting a manual. The timing belt needs to come off and if that is not done properly...
I run a 68hta on my other car. I will recommend it to you. Spools quick and has room for growth. Also looks stock. Pretty sure I have seen some older 68hta for sale on here for the price your gonna spend. Can't go wrong with fp.
It's actually ported bigger than a 7cm gasket. I think I can smooth it out and make it round again lol. Just don't want to spend to much time on it if it's scrap. I'm mostly worried about the center devider missing.
This is not my porting by the way. Want opinions on what people think if this manifold is usable and actually work like its suppose to. It's going on with a ported Evo 3 turbo. If the manifold is not usable I need to get a different one before the installation
I would check specs on crank play. If its good then it should make no difference building a revised block or your early 7 bolt block. The block is what goes bad when there is crank walk.
