I just would like to add something... we had to tow the GST home from the base not too long ago. Towed it with the new '06 Dodge with the 5.7. It's like the damn car wasn't even there. No change in power, no change in mileage, period. Fuggin awesome. Just figured I'd let yall know :)

I have personally seen "tired" royal purple...its not red...its still more purple than anything to my eyeballs. One question....why is dex cool being mentioned? As far as I know, dexcool coolant is for GM's and GM's only.

I agree about the size...you probably want to look into "netbooks." They're like baby laptops which I would think would be suitable for logging and such. They don't take up a whole lot of space, and I don't think you would need anything too fancy for it.

We just sold our 2000 ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.9 gas motor. That thing is such a damn beast. Hubbys pulled home lots of cars with it and hauled some off for the neighbors. But she's tough. Just got the tranny rebuilt with 205,000 miles on it and she's good to go now. I'm gonna miss big blue -tear-

Convertible tops can be fixed at an upholstery shop too...unless its a mechanical part that's broken, then you look around on here to see if someone else has one. Better to sell the car whole than to part it out.

Looks better than mine...but that's not hard to do. As long as your engine bay is something other than shitty orange-ish it looks better than mine lol. But to me it looks...busy. like crowded. Good job though :)

I honestly didn't even look up wiring instructions for it..I just made educated guesses based on the wiring colors. There's not too many things that I'm really handy with, but wiring is one of the things that I'm pretty good at, which sucks because I don't enjoy it and everyone is always asking...

I wired the stock plugs to the gst's after market fans as described above and they work like little champs. Nothing to it.

So much dislike for the n/t's. I prefer my car over the gst, but I prefer the mega cab over all of them :)

I think the convertible top arms are good to keep, from what I understand its common for them to break. If the top itself is in good shape I'd probably try to take that off. Really...take off anything you really can...interior parts, lights, the bumper covers if they're OE and in good shape...

I had my baby girl last Monday. 7lbs 10oz and 21 inches long. For whatever reason I can't upload pictures on my phone so when I make it to my laptop I'll add pictures. So now we have another little girl born into the car world :)

Having messed up and corroded terminals also doesn't let the alternator charge the battery properly. Cut those terminals off, get some new ones. When you strip the wire casing back, check the wire itself for corrosion also. Go ahead and get you a new battery but make sure you've got the new...

The work on the headliner is actually done very well. That being said...I agree about the grey interior BUT the tan visors look good with it. So if you did black/tan interior with the plaid it might not look half bad. I would stay away from too many plaid "accents" though as plaid can be kind of...

When we took the hubbys 95 eclipse (rs I think) to Texas after we first met...along with our bags, we had the entire top half of his rolling tool box, two 'extra' wheels and tires, and jack and stands. It was probably just a bit much, but I think we ended up needing those wheels and tires lol.
