It looks like the way you have it set up it switches to low octane maps when the idle sw pin is active (1) You could swap your min and max octane maps or set your pressure switch up to deactivate idle sw pin (0)
Shouldn’t do any damage venting after the maf, just wont run well for a few moments after it vents on throttle closing. When I tried this in my car after it vented the car went way rich and stumbled acting like it was going to stall.
Changing cam gears and noticed the engravings on the cams. From what I could tell these are comp 101-200’s or fp2’s? Are they one and the same? Or different grinds?
A cheaper route that I’ve used was longer bolts and some washers to shim the oem waste-gate actuator a bit to add some preload. Eventually I came up with this which worked much betterI added a spring. Wired up between the flapper arm and secured up around where the actuator bolts down. Made...
As long as the line running to the wastegate is teed into the stock bcs or straight from the nipple on the compressor outlet elbow to the wastegate- boost should be low enough.
Congrats on your pucrhase! A small 16g is fine if you keep the boost down. It has the ability to flow more than the stocker. To do so you will need to upgrade some things. The cons of a small 16g? Not many, maybe slightly longer spool times.
I was browsing around and found this thread. The guy from IPT talks about the Quaife and Wavetrac units and those guys seem to know their stuff. Hope it helps!http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/lsd-insert-for-automatic-gst.406696/
Take a look at this page - dont know if it's what you're looking for but there is some info on casting numbers on there.
It says G64B, G4CS has a 64 casting mark
And 4G64, 4G64FR has a AT1,K casting markhttp://crankshaftsupply.com/crankcatalog.htm
Reading instructions for the innovate lc1 recommends mounting the sensor at least 24 inches after the turbo.
That being said I recently moved my wideband sensor to the stock o2 housing location for narrowband simulation with no ill effects so far.
The theory is the heat from being so close to...
Well you're headed it the right direction.
- hard to pass up the great deal on a 68 hta
-dsmlink is great!
- fic 750cc will do it.
- consider a duel pump rewire to go with that pump.
-vrsf is a budget option. There are better, more expensive intercoolers out there.
- Get a 1g valve instead...
I was gone for a couple years but I'm back in victorville with my 1g gsx! Anyone know of any meets? Looks like all of the cruise night stuff got shot down :(
you could try and find one at a junkyard, a used line will work fine, just check it out before you pull it. you could also call around and find a shop that can fab a line for you
