So my sputtering problen was my spark plugs, it drives now and not 100% because ill get somd little sputters at times but ill see what it is later, also reason why the car wasnt turning on before was because my injectors werent spraying. Thanks guys for the helpSo my sputtering problen was my...
I have a 2g mass on it, non recirc bov, and I have no boost leaks at alllllll guys :(, i have a 650 fic injectors, im using this hks computer software typr yhing that connects to the ecu and its suppose to compenaate the air and fuel mixture to make it run as close as I can to 14.7 but its not...
Okay so let me say what happened in the beggining, car was perfectly fine and nothing wrong. then it started sputtering on me or misfireing, whatever it was. I would drive and it would drive fine then feel like I hit a freaking brick wall if I push it, it I let off the throttle and open again...
Guys the way to test a parasitic drain problem is to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery, use a test light and connect the lead to the terminal and touch the negative post on the battery, the light should be on but faint, if it is really bright then start pulling out fuses one by...
You got your answers right there dude, this is a good way to start, it even helps you learn a lot so when you go for the big build you have more knowledge, good luck man
I don't know too much of the 7bolts but if you swap a 6bolt get everything for a 6bolt and I know the 7 bolt has a crank position sensor and the 6 has a cam angle so you would have to do something about that
Looks good man I would've still gotten the brand name one but those should work alright, you should do some tests as well if your confident enough, just be careful still
Dont waste your time changing yhe injectors, most likely its not that, soundslike a boost leak somewhere, maybe a coupler blew off or broke, maybe a pipe fell off, check all vacuum lines, if that's not it run a conpression test, most likely its the leak, bump my rep if I was helpful lol
It wont snap just torque it out quick if your worried, and you don't need to ground it then ground to the battery one is good enough just make sure its a good clean ground, remember the motor and trans have 3 grounds total or so, ground it to somewhere on the motor and it'll be fine, what issues...
Don't use rtv if your dealing with air, it won't hold, get a gasket it'll work fine but if you think there's a big clearance with mstibg that the gasket won't work, file it down till the surface is perfectly flat, it shouldn't get messed up if you havent messed with it
first make sure all marks are aligned, get a timing light, then ground it, have the light flashing at the markings for tdc and such, adjust the cas till it hits tdc or depending on the degress you want it to be at
Bring spare parts that you can carry just to be careful if your old parts go bad, you can swap it put real quick, bring fluids incase you run out or if it spills, and bring jb weld because ypu never know whatlly brake haha
Good stuff man, and yea this is a good thread for someone that night have a sinilar problem but you should've explained how exactly you did some testing from your meter
No need to judge guys, wait till he explains, he probably got everything new or something, maybe he rebuilt a stock sexy clean cat. Let us know man, car looks good, but yea what's with the shift light
Couldn't read the log, but, for that surge make sure you have no vacuum leaks anywhere, and also make sure timing is correct, do the basic tests and see how it goes
Could if be an actor that's not real, if so ill say chuky because for some damn reason he kills everyone, like is it seriously that hard to knock him out or kill that little s***
If it only starts wiatah te fluid then concentrate. On that, maybe you should check the cas, also could be that mass, are you sure its hacked correctly. Check fpr, try to see how your fuel pressure is. Keep testing there's many more tests, and the electrical issue should be the back up fusible...
I doubt the starter is bad, check your voltage on the battery, and test it while your cranking to see ho nuch it drains, if its not star on it could be a sensor somewhere, use your link to see If there's any reading that isnt normal, and like everyone is saying do the basic tests! Good luck dude
I've tried buying stuff, like almost 3 weeks ago, these 2 items aren't coning in and its really f****** small. One of the person doesn't even reply back to me, I won't say any names yet.... but I'm pretty damn mad. So I guess its not just you dude
What mounts do you have, if they are those polyurethane ones check to see if the hole in the mount is right in the middle, when some people put them on they don't realize it, try to see how much it doesn't line up and take them out and move it
