Guaranteed they didn't mean to send it back with so much media in there. Was this your core? If your core was trash to start with there's only so much they can shave off. Looks close to service limit .
Whats the brown wire? Could be abs shielded wire but I doubt mitsu would stuff it through a cut grommet. Speaker wire? Anyways... What's the red big gauge wire, for battery? The picture you showed is just the connector. The relay would be in one of your main fuseboxes. Looks up posts on here on...
Whoever cut the wires also cut a ground to the pump connector. There should be 5 going to the pump, 2x 16ga (black, black/blue), 2x 22ga (yellow, yellow/black), 1x 22ga (black).Black 22ga wire is a ground wire. Most mitsu grounds are 22ga black, with dual silver strips. Find the pump...
- pump needs to operate on 12v power and reasonable amperage (10A to 30A I would think?)
- pump needs to be compatible with power steering fluid
- must produce between 1200 and 1300psi, would eliminate any risk of broken seals.
I would think power drain happens only if there's a short somewhere. (ie faulty switch shorting to ground). If it happens when the car is off without a key in it, it means it involves a wire that is fed power outside the ignition or key dependant system. That sort of narrows down the...
I believe at one point there was a 3rd wire on relay #1. I can't remember whether this was a ground or not. Seeing that there seems to be one live and one signal, I think it may have been a ground. The turn signals never worked on this car so I will have to re-do their wiring regardless.edit...
Thanks, I'm excited for this. This is actually a 62mm wheel inside the race housing offered by BEP I beleive. Not much info on how this actually fits, but I measure the wheel, it is in fact a 62mm wheel. Turbine side is the larger 74mm/64mm. I'll be running the stock manifold until I find the...
I'm excited to see finished results too!The intercooler I made a mock up for, had it built based on what I could fit, any company that builds these could help you. All you need is a vertical flow core.
Very interesting build. This is pretty unique. So the VGT essentially reduces the height of the turbine, and you would make the turbine wheel "smaller" once the turbo is spooled and at full capacity? Is this correct? Good luck with the build and keep it up.
Didn't give up, far from it :)I'm waiting for my custom radiator & my exhaust manifold. Also waiting for nicer weather to start putting the harness back together.Apart from this, everything is installed and ready.
Thanks to Brian @ Erbified Motorsports for making this possible!Much more cooling stuff has yet to come. Up next is my custom water pipe and removal of all coolant hoses in the engine bay & custom built radiator. Hint: my oil cooler is for sale.
Stay tuned!
