i bought a comp tester at harbor freight for around 30$

dam. i dont know much at this point but you could try to check your floor to see if there any water. i heard once someone was leaking watter inside of the car. from some water line related to the heater o r AC. i dont rebember. dont take my word for it, is just a wild guess

inspect it visually and if you dont see nothing weird? blow compressed air thru it

when i installed the small 16g i kept the metal ring that work as a spacer for the t25 to the manifold. could this be it? i have no wideband and already upgrade ot to t clamps. did i need to leave that spacer there?? or remove it?thanks again

that air fitting is the boost source for the boost controller. continue the install. im guessing your j pipe is tapped with a fitting just like that one you see in the turbo. if not. no biggie

i just installed a small 16g and since my car is not tunned, im running the lowest boost posible but it still creeps to aroung 16psi and nin 2nd gear it sputters at 6k and in 3rd gear it sputters at 5k. im guessing it could be a fuel pump or a huge boost leak?

i have my lower and upper timming belt cover missing. i di have a balanceelimination kit but if any of the other 2 belts pops; could they get in the way ofthe timming belt and trash my engine? how much of an emergency it is that iget the covers installed?thanks in advance

finally today i was able to do another test drive and find put that my boost was in fact creeping (i was under the impression that boost creep was a loss of boost so sorry about earlier)at WOT and in 2nd gear my car sputters at 6k and boost all the way to about 18 psi and then sputters...

yes, thats what it does IT SPUTTERS, by a fuel pressure gauge, do you mean aFPR? or just a gauge. please elaborate a bit better since im not all thatmchanicaly inclined or technical. i learn as i go and think i can handle most boltons but thats about it.

i can redline my car fine if i dont give it full throttle, but but if i floor the gas pedal i kind of bogs or for lack of a better term farts. am i underboost or under fuel. i have stock fuel system and since my car is not tuned, i removed the boost controller when i got my new 16g installed...

i had that same problem with my previous dsm and not even with the tbold ckamps were holding together. so, i appled some jb weld around the edge of the pipe to make a lip and make it harder for the rubber to just slide off.tht finally fixed it. but be careful if ## running too much boost...

im fairly new to the site and cant post a new thread. but someone told me i had to feed the new small 16g from my block using the same oil feedline thats already in the turbo. and he said to plug off the one in the car that come from the oil filter housing. were are u feeding the oil from?

aight i got everything out, but when im trying to install the new turbo i noticethat my top oil line wont match (remember im installing a small 16g in a 2 gwhere do i go from here? what do i have to do and what do i have to buy??
