I had a DSMlink, but I had a capacitor fail on the board. The new Evo ecu is very cool- very easy to live with and emissions-friendly. It’s like a mini-stand Aline in its features, which I have t even begun to play with.You should think about doing the conversion.

I have no idea why there's no reference to the care of the top in the manual; when I got my spyder in '02 I asked the dealer about any special care. They got that "dear in the headlights" look. Th fabric top will soak through pretty quickly; it really needs to be treated to survive any time...

I'm surprised no one recommended this before; try a product called Raggtop. It's made for cloth convertible tops. It will weatherproof your top so that when water hits it, it will bead up and run off. I've used it since i got my Spyder in '02, and since I've never had an issue with water coming...
