Rehab, I have alot of the upgrades you are looking for that I just took off my car recently. Im sure I can sell them fairly cheap too. I am local to you.Also, ac mainly seems to be an issue with some frontmount intercoolers. Mine was exceptionally tight fitting with the ac but it did work.
I work on a few of the local dsm's around here. But if your looking for actual tuning on the car then corr performance has an awd dyno and capability to tune with ecmlink, aem, haltech, etc.
If it jumped a couple of teeth then most likely you would have bent some valves. The only way to check on car is to do a leakdown test. Sometimes it can be noticed through a boost leak test as well.
Have you checked the valves yet? If not I would do a leakdown test. These motors are interference, so if it snapped a t-belt its a good chance it happened.
Personally the amount of material that would have to come out of my crashbeam when I installed my fmic was just too much to even consider cutting the crashbeam. With it being cut I seriously doubt it will be as near as effective as it was originally.
It doesnt have a surging idle. Just a dead miss every 6 or so seconds. When the car warms up it wants to run lean and die, but will restart instantly. Car has been on a hacked maf for months and it has never caused problems.

Every symptom you have described is a blown headgasket. No one here can give you a magic answer on something else. You do not have to show all symptoms there are. Go ahead and pull the head and take a look at the headgasket then come back and reply.

I'm rocking all primer right now..... well until next week when it goes into paint. Its all about how much you hate the look of primer. Just remember to seal the primer or you be in trouble later.
