I'll look into that as well...Just seems kinda odd that before the motor swap the clutch worked but would grind going into first. So I decided to replace while motor was out. Now it's just sucks..
Ok here's the question.I have a '92 Laser RS. Just did a engine swap and replaced the clutch. After the swap I found that I also need a Clutch "slave" (on order) and now I also noticed that at about 5000 RPM the clutch seems to slip.Now I only have about 100 miles on this clutch...
Thanks for the info.I'm doing a complete rebuild and turboing the motor when done so new injectors are in my future. Just was wondering..for now I have a good non-turbo motor from my parts car that's going in mine so I can at least drive it for now..
Getting ready to pull the motor out of my '92 Laser RS non-turbo car.(Head separated)Knowing as little about injectors as I do I noticed that the 2 in the middle are blue and the outers are brown/tan colored.Now I'm a big Jeep nut and know that injectors on Jeeps are ID'd by color...
I have a Laser with Non-power windows. And a second Laser donor with power windows.I'd like the power windows in my car.Is there any easy way to do this? (Other than a door swap)Anything I should know before I under take this?I did search and couldn't find much on this topic...
Well I bought another Laser RS for parts.it's a '93. Has some body parts I need and a running motor. So I'll swap that in for now and rebuild my motor into a stroker and with a nice Turbo..
Well I was sitting in traffic today and the car started to over heat. I got moving but it kept climbing. Little did I know it had blown the upper rad hose off.By the time it had die and I got off the road it was spraying Oil and Coolant out between the block and head.It's a '92 Laser...
Well I just bought a '92 Laser RS non-turbo car.Needed a DD and have always liked these cars.It's had a bit of work done to it, Short through shifter, cold air intake, header, cat back, lowered 1", feels like a stage 2 clutch and several unknown internal mods..So far I love the car...
