It is possible if the CAS is turned 180 degrees that it could cause issues. Has it been removed recently? I would try the simplest possibilities first, but the CAS could be a factor.
Primary components for ignition are fuel, spark and compression. Start with the easiest fix and work your way back. Start with spark plugs. Pull them and make sure they're gaped properly and not corroded or damaged. Next, check the wires for damage. Look into the boot and check for spark as you...
Yeah, it's 2:30AM and I've been workin since 3pm. I'm not going. Still need an ECU flash and time to test drive her. And some E85. Other than that, she's all together. Maybe next time.
Larry's VR4 isn't going to make it. We're having trouble with a bunch of small issues that are preventing us from tuning it. If I don't get the oil return line on my new setup done by Friday, I won't be going either. It won't give me enough time to tune. I'll be busting my ass, but if not...
So far things are going well for my car. It looks like I'll have time to get everything done and tuned in time. The new turbo is here, the custom o2 housing is getting fitted and all I need is the clutch. I can drive it down there without it, but I don't think I'll make any passes :( . Anybody...
Well guys, I've enjoyed my life in the 16g realm, But with the impending failure of my 16g, I'm moving up :hellyeah:. In order to do so, I have some parts I will no longer be needing. I will be pulling these parts from my GVR4 in the next few days. The first item is an OEM Evo 3 turbo...
I vote 17 July. I hope there's more that 2-3 people going. Last time I set up a meet all of 2 people showed. We still had a good time, but I would have liked more. I told another one of my VR4 friends, so if we're lucky there will be 2 Galant VR4's there.
My vote is Rudy's in Westover hills. I cast said vote because of it's proximity to my house so if my VR4 breaks down again it's not a PITA to tow back home LMAO
If it's a 14mm 12pt then those are ARP head studs. Just go to your local hardware/parts store and get the 12 pt socket. Hell, if you're close by I'll loan you mine (provided it get's returned cause I use it quite a bit.) The ARP's are a helluva lot better than the OEM 10mm allen head bolts...
So I had posted all of 2 times before the timing belt snapped on my GVR4 and ate my valves, but Ugly Betty's back and better than ever. That being said, where do people meet now? I've heard rumer that no one goes to Mama Margies anymore. That's fine with me as I prefer a more... mature crowd...
Yo momma so old she used to gangbang with the Hebrews.
Yo momma so fat when she sits around the house, she REALLY sits around the house.
Yo momma so Black she went to night school and was counted absent.
Yo momma so ugly her pillow cries at night.
I'm a bit partial to the 91-92 Galant VR4. They don't look like much, but they're beautiful to me. four wheel drive, Four wheel Steer, Four Doors and Forced Induction :hellyeah: Here's mine. She's not done yet, but she's getting there. #524 of 1000 aka Ugly Betty
one of the guys that helped do the timing used the wrong bolt/didn't torque it down properly and the timing belt ate it. Bye Bye new valves, guides, seals, and all the other goodies that had just been replaced. This time I'm doing all the same, salvaging my evo springs and retainers and putting...
I just got my Galant VR4 running (thanks Broxma), you may see me at the MM "meet" on occasion, but it's not really my thing. To many Hondas doing stupid shit. But the food is good lol
