Yeah it stinks when you get a bit to break off in a bolt or something you need out but i would just torch it at this point as well and order the new bracket as well.
you can use a bolt that fits the holes then run that throught a hole in the chain on the engine hoist and use a washer so it wont go all the way through. hope this helps
upgrading to a turbo car is great but you do have to do your research. you not only need to know what all parts you need but the specs of the parts as well. you just cant go out and but a bunch of high end parts, slap them all together and expect them to work together like a swiss watch. if it...
it is possible to spool but it takes more than rpms to do so like said before you have to "load" the turbo to make it spool it takes whats called "cfm's" (Cubic Feet per Minute of pressureized air flow) to make it happen not just psi and each turbo is different and takes a different amount of...
I've heard good and bad about water/air intercoolers but i have to agree ive never seen someone go wrong with an air cooled intercooler!!! They have been used for along time and have always worked why would they stop now??? but still up to you.
Anything is possible with alot of time, paticence and money its just about what you want to but into it. but i would deff build that bottom end and upgrade the fuel pump. the injectors should be fine with the right tune but you could go bigger up to you.
my buddy has one of the no name fmic's from ebay ona boosted sunfire runnin 15 psi daily driven with no problems so my guess is there are some good one out there!!!!:hellyeah:
It deff have to move freely on the splines like said before to engage and disengage properly or at all that matter. but to get it off you and try grease or some sort of penetrating oil and let it seep in for a lil while then pry it off but if all else fails use heat but use caution if you do...
mine dosent humm but they have been known to do so but ive never heard of them being loud enough to hear while you are in the car. but yes thats deff your ECU.
NO!!!! I would never use a recycled oil in my car beacuse you never know what it went through before it got to you. therefore its a big no. Maybe i would think about it if i was the one that recycled the oil and it was all fully synthetic but other than that NO!!!!!:nono:
Also if you have an engine hoist avalible you can hook that up and keep the motor in place and it will make things go smooth. But, I don't know what kind of tools you have access to. hope it helps
yes i agree with this partually but what happens if you get the large frame turbo and use spray to spool and get used to that and now you dont have any spray left and cant get any for a while for whatever reason and now you have lower compression and a huge turbo which = more time out of boost =...
