I completely removed the belt and replaced everything and reset my timing :/Also I didn't do a boost leak test but would that cause me running so rich?
After replacing my timing belt tensioner my car now backfires like crazy and the air/fuel pegs at 10 under boost car runs great when not in boost and idles fine. It's on a tune it ran fine on before.

I am currently running an hx35 and im looking to find something that is around the same size and can make 500+ hp but spool a little faster, price isnt really an issue just looking for a good fast spooling turbo. let me know what you guys think. (I have the extream psi hotside on it)
i did turn it by hand 6 rotations before starting it, and yeah its running now i replaced the plugs and it started up but i have dsm link 2.5 so when i unpluged my batt. it deleted my tune which is why it was running like poop, but thanks guys!!!!!

get a screw extractor kit, it comes with bits that are real small and wont make too much mess... I had a stud snap off and thats what i used and it worked great
check the small bolt located in the front left area on the valve cover. most people have a line coming from this spot but may just stick a bolt in it when the line is removed and mine was leaking a small amount of oil which could explain the moisture and the smoke?
well make sure it runs and idles well, and be sure you test drive it before buying it and make sure it spools and holds boost well and there is no engine noise but these cars are (for the most part) easy to work on and if anything goes wrong the friendly people on here will have the answers for you

where can I get a twin scroll t3 turbo housing for my holset hx35... i need one because I dont reach full boost till like 5 grand and from what im hearing these turbos can reach full boost in the 3000-3500 area and that would be just fantastic. thanks.
