So I am wondering after chasing down all the link found here and some others, if feeding my garrett gt40r (4088r) DBB turbo from the ofh with BS removed was the best of ideas even with the supplied resristor. Anyone have this turbo if so where or how did you feed it?
To answer your question I believe that line is part or your Ac system. Far as the oil pump being in question what does your oil pressure look like? have you done a boost leak test a boost leak will cause running issues.
Same as above , but get another oil return or hack the t25 oil return line, new manifold to turbo bolts, related gaskets, a aftermarket boost gauge, and a wide band guage just a few things that I would recommend for the safety of your motor.
You could look around in the classified ads for a smic for a 2g they can be reasonably priced ther. A fmic wouldnt really so any benefit performance wise on a all stock car.^^^^beat me to it
I have tried to up load it that way but I cant find the log to up load, I can open link on my desktop and see it but cant attach.I cant see most of the links in the link you sent, because I cant log in to ecmlink yet.Well I got it to idle better thanks to some help from gofer and mechman518...
I just completed a complete rebuild with dks 272s, eagle crank, eagle rods, weisco .20 over pistons, all arp bolts. All other mods are current in profile. I have V3 with SD bundle 4 bar map, and gm iat sensor I have the plug that plugs into the 2g harness where the mas plugged in.My...
They go on the bottom of each lifter. But you may not need them but make sure you bleed the lifters before you reassemble the head. I learned the hard way 6 vavles later.
Well I am in the columbus area and the Honda guys here are the same way hell the n/t guys here are like wtf when see my car. I can only imagine the comments when I convert to awd
I made my own kit with stuff from Intercooler Pipe Fabrication - Silicone Intake Systems Auto Parts with couplers clamps and pipe sections for less than $250 in 2.5 diameter.
Thr t25 is a garrent turbo and the stock line has a restrictor in it. The mhi (14b, 16g, ect) dont require as much oil pressure as the t25 and can cause damages with too much oil pressure.
I had the same issue before on my 2g and when I bypassed the relay it would work. With further searching I realized that the clutch saftey switch was missing the lil rubber gourment to ground the system. I never bypassed that switch. I just put a small bolt and nut in the whole so it would...
I haven't looked at your mods, but do you have balance shafts still it could possibility be those as well since you have no up and down play. You could pull the rod caps.pretty easy and inspect the rod bearings.
I ended up doing a leak down test with poor results on a 6month old head. Timing was on the money. I am waiting on the machine shop to call and tell me whats wrong.
Yeah I dont know what the sorry behind it is I had it towed home. I got it for a good deal. Still deciding on fixing or parting out. It runs good now it just need a good cleaning and maint stuff.
Well I know this is a old thread but I have dks272s an it cranks and ildes around 1100 with only 10in of vac what gives it frees revs ok but when I try to drive it idle to 3k feels and sounds like trying to pull a hill in 5th at 20mph. Timing is on car ran great before cams. What am I doing...
In AL and GA if you have full coverage on atleast one other vehicle the your covered for 30 days. With a b.o.s but they do as for insurance at the tag office. If she was faulted then doesnt matter if you have insurance or not because hers will fix yours. You may get a ticket for not having any...
I would do a blt if no leaks stay at stock boost until you have the proper up-grades and Maintenance done or your car will go down hill fast. Your 190 re-wire WITH supporting mods should be fine around 20psi
TPS Testing Procedure:
1.Test the resistance between pins 1 and 4. The resistance should measure 3500 - 6500 ohms (3.5k - 6.5k)
2.Measure the resistance between pins 2 and 4 while rotating the throttle open. The resistance should change smoothly, smoothly being the key word here.
You can go to Discount Tire, Custom Wheels, Truck & Car Rims | Discount Tire put in your vehicle info they will give you from plus 0 to 3. Like 225/40r18 will fit or 195/60-16.
The 205/55 16 are 24.9 inches tall (what you have currently)
The 215/55 16 are 25.3 inches tall (what I have)SO its only a .4 of an inch difference, I think you will be ok if you were to come across 215/55 cheaper. I hope this helps.
