So I am wondering after chasing down all the link found here and some others, if feeding my garrett gt40r (4088r) DBB turbo from the ofh with BS removed was the best of ideas even with the supplied resristor. Anyone have this turbo if so where or how did you feed it?

To answer your question I believe that line is part or your Ac system. Far as the oil pump being in question what does your oil pressure look like? have you done a boost leak test a boost leak will cause running issues.

It's the 95-96 stock intake cam gear designed for the cas to be behind that gear.

A reputable machine shop may be able to repair it, I would definitely have it and the other 3 checked as well.

Same as above , but get another oil return or hack the t25 oil return line, new manifold to turbo bolts, related gaskets, a aftermarket boost gauge, and a wide band guage just a few things that I would recommend for the safety of your motor.

Never threw a cel, and had six bent vavles :sosad:

A loss of power? I would start with a boost leak test, double check your timing marks and leak down test would show if you have valve piston issues.

after rebuilding the yurbo did you do another blt? Chances are you'll have another leak. I played the find fix then find another for a few weeks.

You could look around in the classified ads for a smic for a 2g they can be reasonably priced ther. A fmic wouldnt really so any benefit performance wise on a all stock car.^^^^beat me to it

Are you talking about the round sleeve? The one around the stock one?

Have you checked for boost leaks?

I got mine from ffwd that came with but the directions said "may be needed" not all motors are the same nor are every re-grind.

They go on the bottom of each lifter. But you may not need them but make sure you bleed the lifters before you reassemble the head. I learned the hard way 6 vavles later.

I made my own kit with stuff from Intercooler Pipe Fabrication - Silicone Intake Systems Auto Parts with couplers clamps and pipe sections for less than $250 in 2.5 diameter.

^^^^^WOW! that brings back memories. Had to drain drop the tank and clean mine. This also caused me tuning issues.

Thr t25 is a garrent turbo and the stock line has a restrictor in it. The mhi (14b, 16g, ect) dont require as much oil pressure as the t25 and can cause damages with too much oil pressure.

I ran my 16g from the OFH but with the balance shafts in the motor, after I deleted them my oil press when up so I moved to the head location.

I had the same issue before on my 2g and when I bypassed the relay it would work. With further searching I realized that the clutch saftey switch was missing the lil rubber gourment to ground the system. I never bypassed that switch. I just put a small bolt and nut in the whole so it would...

I haven't looked at your mods, but do you have balance shafts still it could possibility be those as well since you have no up and down play. You could pull the rod caps.pretty easy and inspect the rod bearings.

I didn't really notice a hp gain or loss but it definitely cut down on the areas for boost leaks to happen.

I ended up doing a leak down test with poor results on a 6month old head. Timing was on the money. I am waiting on the machine shop to call and tell me whats wrong.

Yeah I dont know what the sorry behind it is I had it towed home. I got it for a good deal. Still deciding on fixing or parting out. It runs good now it just need a good cleaning and maint stuff.

In my experience when a cel flashes it usually been related to a misfire. Find an obd scanner to check out to be sure.

Well I know this is a old thread but I have dks272s an it cranks and ildes around 1100 with only 10in of vac what gives it frees revs ok but when I try to drive it idle to 3k feels and sounds like trying to pull a hill in 5th at 20mph. Timing is on car ran great before cams. What am I doing...

I would do a blt if no leaks stay at stock boost until you have the proper up-grades and Maintenance done or your car will go down hill fast. Your 190 re-wire WITH supporting mods should be fine around 20psi

The 205/55 16 are 24.9 inches tall (what you have currently) The 215/55 16 are 25.3 inches tall (what I have)SO its only a .4 of an inch difference, I think you will be ok if you were to come across 215/55 cheaper. I hope this helps.

I have 215/55 r16 with no problems with a slight drop, I have a 2g I dont know if it matters.
