Don't knock Maaco. The problem with their paint job is all in the preparation or lack there of.
My Dad has also used Maaco on his classic show cars and won with thier paint jobs. The first car painted still looks good 10 years later.

Welcome. You'll find most tuners in the STL will not touch Hall street these days due to the bad rap it has received over the years since Fast and furious came out. The scene there has changed from a pretty decent place to a lot of want to be thugs etc... But, then again maybe that has changed...
I agree on the blt. If there are leaks or significant leaks it will smoke. Of course it wont be oil smoke but, fuel and carbon. I had this issue after doing fmic and hard pipes etc... Sure enough it smoked until I took care of every single little boost leak and some pretty big ones.
Considering the distance of the wb from the head and that there is an exhaust leak it's entirely possible this is the issue. I don't recall the aem units but, they can or can't be recalibrated?
