My buddies 6466 on 28psihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ur82itWrYMQ&feature=youtube_gdata_playerMy old 2.0 motor on a 6266 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlinqcPmM1E&feature=youtube_gdata_playerI'm sure there are just as many vids of fp turbos in action. As for me I'm pte for life!
1 6466 ( that out of the hundreds they sell per months) that is being pushed to its upper limit fails and they make bad turbos lol!And calling the moderator out because it's not right for someone in a power position to slander a company's reputation based on inaccurate information. And...
Who said anything about the demon? And it used to run a pte 6766 before the super 99.And they tested it in the t3 and then the t4 on a few cars. The t3 housing was choking it out to the tune of 50-100hpDrew Jones has the same problem with v band .82 ar he started getting choked flow at...
It's all relative, your steps are near perfection. you made 100 more hp on less boost what does that tell you? You aren't choking it out yet because you have a well designed setup. On the average car you'll choke it out. Or build back pressure to the point where it will stop making power...
You can't even begin do a root cause analysis until you know all the facts. What bov did he have, what's his oiling scheme, what were the egts, how much back pressure. When you push something to 100 precent of what it's capable of you need have everything perfect. The first thing I see is...
If you have the money to do right, then do it right the first time. You are most likely going to get a bigger turbo at some point, you'll push harder etc. A stock block will meet your needs, yes if you are going to pay for the machine work you might as well build it up.
I always forget you are a PTE turbo hatter, even though out perform time after time after time after time!!!Also you do realized that the center section cost a waping $160 to replace.PS Garrett openly admits that they have a inferior bearing design that requires the revision of water to...
Hey guys, I recently had a conversation with someone I know, who works for one of the larger after-market turbocharger companies and he gave me this very informational document that has great suggestions on how a unit would be properly set-up on applications. I figured I would just share it...
oooo wow you looked at a graph, that doesn't mean anything. The gtx will out flow the gt in the end but is it really worth it? Unless you are going to be taking it too the make operational limits noooo.I have yet to see a gtx trubo live up to any of there claims yet. go a head and prove me...
You can nab a used 30xx for pretty darn cheap these days too 5-800 bucks will get you one, and don't be scared of a used turbo. It's a little bit of a chance but the first time you start your car with a new turbo you just tossed 20% of the value out the door.with a standard 3076r I made...
what ever you think :)I love how you say there costumer service sucks in that thread, I ruined comp wheel (my fault) and sent my turbo in on wed via 2 day shipping. They got it Friday, called me up told me everything it needed and gave me the options I opted for just a wheel and cover 275...
don't know never owned one just get a bb.Fp turbos are way way over priced. PTE offers so much more for less, plus if you ever do trash a turbo pte ball bearings are rebuildable; unlike garret center cartages.
You can do it on a 20g no problem. If you should want to change it out go with a 3076. It should out spool the 20g and you'll have no problem making that kind of power. Also if you are attached to the dsm flange you can get it in the FP3065.
A 3076 is the ultimate street turbo for that power rang. Spool is amilar to a E16g. I would stay away from anything GTX, way way over rated and they cost a butt load. if you don't think a 3076 is going to cut the mustard then jump too a 6262. PTE and there CEA wheels are where it's at these...
come to think of it I had an hks bov, compressor surge like a mo foreplaced it with a tial, and hey look even made in the usa
http://www.tialsport.com/news.htmoh and by the way, I came into this thread with an attitude because you title is one of a cocky ass punk Wtf, where's all the hks...
here is you hks parts btw if you want to waste your money go aheadand notice how in that cam forum the car was choked by hks exhaust. hmm maybe because they suck?http://www.extremepsi.com/store/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=78
dude you are an idiot, jump on google and do your own leg work. there have been many many side by side comparisons of hks cams and other products.name one thing hks makes for a dsm and I guarantee I can name something that will work better.
It's not even about the money. get off you hks high house and step into the new world. check what kelford, magnus, redjack racing. gates, crower, I can go on.were bashing hks because you are acting like they are some kind of god parts. when they are not
name any hks part and there is an equal or better part. HKS is junk you ask me, old technology. There cams were good once upon a time, as with every other part they made there is a better one now days
