You know... I would check your turbo... Ive seen turbo's that were about to go NOT shoot out smoke yet choke around that RPM... Maybe you need a tune though who knows.

well i dont know your setup so im just gonna take a crack at it. Either your ... Fuel pump is weak or not upgraded... Injectors maxed out... Air filter WAY too big ... Boost leak... Filters go through ALOT before they clog... Your boost is up too high... Your air fuel is not tuned...

Im willing to bet when he installed the boost controller he set it too high and it gained fuel cut. If you have a decent working boost gauge, make sure you set the new boost controller for about 10lbs and try that.I recommend just pulling a stock actuator.. some people buy the aftermarket...

Ok when i was a kid , i put Keystone Classic rims on my 64 buick special. As for my dsm , it looks completely stock until you open the hood.

Yeah i went JDM , most of the stuff included ended up in a pile of spare parts including the ecu . Kinda a waste of money .the harness in the 2g was made to fit all the sensors and stuff anyways. If i had to do again id just get a 4g63 and build it up with all new internals and whatnot. then...

Yeah if they are jdm they are blue 450cc Domestic is black could be wrong.. With a 2g maf, i believe you can swap in up to 550cc without a tune and would actually normalize it. But at that point your looking to upgrade to a wal 255 fuel pump

Well , you might have a plug wire or coil shorting. maybe another coil (1g) You might need an SAFC II and a tune. You might have a screwed up fuel cut problem (upgrade fuel pump, regulator, and injectors)When it sputters, does it seem like your running off two cylinders?
